Do we have any Lucasi Enthusiasts here?

Just curious to see if anyone knows if there is a particular model line designation for Lucasi's Uniloc Radial cues.

I know they produce both wood-wood and stainless steel joints.

Anyone know where I can see a lineup/list of both versions?

i think they're decent cues. if they focused on making more plane cues than all the way too busy decal/inlay cues then i'd like them a lot more.

You are not going to find a lot of Lucasi lovers here. I play with one and I like it a lot. If more people looking for inexpensive production cues would try them there would be a lot more owners on this forum. But most people buy off the internet because Billiard stores are few and far between and i understand that most will order the more established brands Viking,Joss McD etc. and not take a chance on a Lucasi. Living in a large Metro area i was lucky enough to be able to try out several makers cues and chose the Lucasi over the usual suspects.Nothing wrong with the above makers cues at all. I just liked the Lucasi cocobolo the best.

$ for $ I think they are the best cue you can buy.
I like the Uni-Loc better. But use both Uni & Rad pin about the same.
I have several, could not resist and they were easily in the budget.

Don't know where to look, I stopped looking cause I would still be buying.

I dont think the 3 on the right are so busy.

i've just been more of a fan of the classic designs that joss uses. if they had some plane janes i'd own one

I had a Lucasi and thought it had a funny hit. Sold it. My buddy has the Lucasi hybrid and I really think it has a good hit and the rubber grip is interesting.

up until about a month ago I played only lucasi. Loved it and still do, just found something that I like better now.

My first cue after my fiberglass Cuetec was a Lucasi :D

I got the L-E56 because I liked cocobolo and floating points and abalone inlays :)

I like the thin butt on it and the pleatherish wrap and its so pretty haha. I played stock shaft for a year and then moved on to a 314-2, and now a Z. YEA DAWG!

I got paranoid that I'd never find a cue to comfortable so I bought monstermash's lucasi L-E04. It's a true radial pin and it came with a laminate hybrid and I adjusted well to it immediately after shooting with Predators all this time. I've owned every Predator model they produced except their precat stuff haha.

I was just curious to see if there are any other Radial wood to wood ones produced besides the L-ER which is not very aesthetically pleasing~

Their Uniloc steel joints are very... bland feeling when you shoot. The radial L=E04 I have now feels great! Though I have to admit, the most pleasing cue I've ever shot with has been hangemhigh's $ Cue with the ivory ferrule.

06Busa, That first one, black with yellow and blue inlays looks hot for a dp. And I don't like anything with that silly steel buttcap but the big windows is nice

Purchased my Lucasi in 2000

Did not know it had a funny hit until I shot with a McDermott. The hit was a little to crisp and hard to me so this summer I bought those Emerald tips made by Tiger and was very surprised at the results, it hits as well as my McD now.

Wow. Those ARE pretty! Appears to be white phenolic joint.
Must hit pretty sweet. Would be sweeter if it was ivory :D

I have some of the earlier Lucasi cues with the 5/16x18 pilot stainless steel joint. They hit pretty decent. One I keep for sentimental reasons, the 2nd I keep because it matches my 1st. 3rd, for sale if someone want to try a 5/16x18 piloted Lucasi.

That DP is a Uni. Bought it before he went heavy on Ebay. Bought a newer DP and it dont hit the same as the old one I have.
also, it was discontinued last I knew. But the LSS3 in the center of the pic I linked is a radial pin.

Like the traditional look of those too. Just wish it didn't have the ginormous BW branded on the buttcap!

If you look closly two have Lucasi on the buttcap and two have BW. Wonder if they all have BW or Lucasi when you get one. I don't like the BW but you could make up a fake name and say it was a little known custom cue maker. How about Barry Wamzoti?

I have this one. it's the BW-3 LTD Lucasi. It has BW on one side and Lucasi on the other.

I have these two!
And yes... the cloth i play on is horrible, as well as the balls...
