If they practiced as much as he does? i don't know if anyone has played as many tough matches as shane has the past year, that might help as well.
 
Shane has dominated here, but looked like a C player at the Cup. Class does that to a player. Sorry, but true.

SVB is the best American player right now for sure. In the world....no. But I'll take any American player thats number 1 in his/her sport now a days. Are they any besides Tiger in any other sport? Johnnyt

I don't think anyone is better than him right now, but there are probably 20 in the world just as good. Johnnyt

I think there are several that could play as well as SVB if they took it as seriously as he does and had his work ethic. Point is ... they don't.
 
Every pro shines at some point in their career........... Every Pro dominates for a while at some points as well.................Not sayin Shanes shine will end soon........but he is doing very well right now for bein so young!!!!!!!!!
 
Shane isn't dominate yet.

WPC and Derby City 9 ball events are 2 of the 3 most important tournaments IMO

He hasn't won either one yet
 
I say that Shane wins the WPC title before he wins the DCC 9 Ball title. Would anyone like to make a long term sweat bet on that?
 
He has to win the DCC 9 ball, king of the table at DCC... bank, 1p, US open, 10 ball, 8 ball and WPC in the same year...

WRONG! In tournament matches, I make it a toss up. Gambling I like Shane all the way!
 
John Morra will be the next superstar coming out of North America. He will soon become Shanes most serious adversary.
 
What are you new? Shane is it for now but, he just proves the old adage that there is always another younger, better dog right around the corner.
Let's see it used to Siegl, Hall, Reyes, Bustamante, Earl, Wiley,Archer and so many others it's just Shanes turn. I wonder who it will be next...
