I'm using the word objective in a manner consistent with the way that it has been used and understood by you and everyone else throughout this thread. If you don't think it is the technically correct term, substitute whatever other term you feel is and my post will still remain true.
It depends on whose version of CTE as you all do it differently, but none of them provide for very many angles. But as I expected, you can't provide instructions for very many angles with your version or any other.
Despite years of requests, no CTE user has ever described objective CTE steps to arrive at any shot - not even a straight-in shot. It's not up to others to show your claims are preposterous. They're your preposterous claims - it's up to you to show they make sense....you can't even give us just one shot?
So which way did you vote? CJ says TOI is an aiming system
CJ has said just the opposite.
Take this to your TOI thread, if you want to discuss it.
Step 1. Determine where the OB and CB need to go.
Step 2. In your minds eye, draw a line from where the OB goes through the center of the OB to a spot on the table that is 1/2 cb distance from the equator of the OB.
Step 3. In your minds eye, draw a line from the spot on the table through the center of the CB.
Step 4. For a center ball hit, place your cue on top of the line you drew with your minds eye. For spin, place cue on either side of that line.
Step 5. Stroke the cue such as the tip of the cue goes straight to the spot on the table, for a center ball hit. For spin, stroke straight on either side of the center line, but do not stroke toward the spot on the table.
Step 6. Watch where the OB goes v where you thought in order to make adjustments as needed.
There is even a drawing to use to illustrate this.
Do the above with CTE. That's all that's being asked.
Btw CTE is no where near as useful as ghost ball contact patch.
CTE provides no feedback for adjustements. No way to determine why you missed other than the visuals weren't right. It provides no means to help determine where the CB needs to be for the right visual.
CTE is a useless system.

You might start by learning what "objective" means.

"To see free videos demonstrating these techniques visit my web site at www.cjwiley.com - you will see 29 balls in a row made in one pocket and the 15 ball rotation ghost drill using the Touch of inside system"
Enough said. I must say you handle being wrong alot pretty well.
Where have you shown that CJ said TOI is an aiming system or method?
Why have you not taken THIS to your TOI thread?
I think the answer is obvious.
My weakness is seeing untruths & you guys know that.
I've made my point & am done with you for the day.
Have a Great Day & Best Wishes.
LOL, touch of inside system, pretty clear. His website is to, everything is a system to him.
PS no need to take this elsewhere, just trying to see if you voted correctly and the answer appears to be no.

If it really doesn't matter to you, then stop claiming it's so "objective" and most of the arguments will fade away.CTE is EXTREMELY objective......but you know what, I flat do not give a hoot as to what large degree or not of objectivity that CTE has....

Total BULLSH*T! Until YOU fade away to the big pool forum in the sky, you'll keep the arguments going just like you have for the last 17 years. It will be replaced with one thing or another. "Objective" is just the latest word to hang onto and milk.
Exactly right......what he REALLY cares about is that he does not want CTE to work in any kind of way. PERIOD
His only hope is that he gets some to believe that CTE is just another kind of feely feely system. He is fighting a losing battle.
It is over!

There was "Custer's Last Stand" and we should refer to this as "Johnson's Last Stand". Custer was arrogant and misinformed enough to think he had the edge at the Little Big Horn just like Pat Johnson does in pool forums but it's going to end up the same way.
