Hey, you are the one that said there was silence. There wasn't silence at all. It's just that you disagree with what others had to say about it.

Because making things up or saying what you merely think is happening is not called proof.

I leaned it well enough to be pocketing balls with it & to find out when it would not do so without an outside subjective interpretation & input.

From that point on it was in doubt & Stan's You Tube perception videos confirmed that doubt.

From that point on I realized that it was not as it was affirmed to be & not something that I was nor am interested for my game.

That said...

If anyone wants to or is considering buying & trying CTE they should do as they wish but should know that the assertion that it is a totally objective 'system' has not been proven nor unproven.

So one sentence you said it's not as it is affirmed to be and the next sentence you say nothing has been proven or dis proven. And we are supposed to make sense out of that.

To be quite honest...

I no longer expect you or a few others to make sense out of anything as it relates to this subject, as it has become rather apparent, to me, that in this regard, it seems to be beyond your intellectual critical thinking abilities.

That is...

IF you & those others are being genuine & sincere.

It's not about you &/or the 'us' to which you referred. It's about anyone else that's reading.

Best Wishes.

Saying there is silence and the saying there hasn't been any proof that you happen to agree with are two vastly different things.

Confirmation or suspicion?

We need a DVD on the necessity of a "Touch of Outside" (TOO).
What is the DW post number?

Well "confirmation" may be a bit too strong of a word. It certainly makes my suspicions about subconscious adjustments happening when using CTE at a high level, seem very plausible.

Post #1407. Bottom video is the one you want to watch.

JB is done here, why are trying to BAIT him back in?

Well I guess that's because he trolled them back into the thread gave his meaningless 2 cents and left before the bell rang ,, that being the statement from the messiah himself that CTE is not perfet ,, here kitty kitty

No baiting at all. If he is truly out then he is out.

Why would that which I've said numerous times be any 'bait' to JB?

That is a rhetorical question that does not solicit a reply.

Best Wishes.

Hmmm...I didn't realize falling was a prerequisite to flying.

Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy:
"There is an art to flying, or rather a knack. Its knack lies in learning to throw yourself at the ground and miss. ... Clearly, it is this second part, the missing, that presents the difficulties."

I had a fun idea. This is something I do when I find a good view of a pro player's stroke. This video might also shed some light on what Stan does to pocket a ball (but probably not!).

Here's Stan's original video called CTE Straightens Out the Shot Part 2:

https://youtu.be/orMhr2ezftA

Here's a video analysis I did last night. Hope you find it interesting.

Since I was sort of led back here by StraightPool.

I think this should be put in with the observations of Colin when he reviewed one of Gerry's videos & where the video allow, Colin noticed some similar movements of the cue there too.

Give it up guys. You're not making progress.

I believe a lot of progress was made with Dan White's video. First: The swooping that was taking place, IMO was very revealing. I also found the question raised by DH himself about thumb position not changing quite interesting...CTE is supposed to be the perfect center pocket system, yet the bridgehand position is the same as with the swoop requiring TOO half ball hit...(according to Stan Shuffet himself). It doesn't add up to me.
