Thanks for the clear reply. If you have been following the discussion, we were discussing your famous 5 shot perception version 2 video. Some people were having trouble pocketing the shots. Shot 1 would go in and shot 5 would hit the foot rail. When I tried to duplicate the video, found that my shot 1 went into the side rail and my shot 5 went about in the pocket. Although I'm left-handed, your reply confirms that I was doing the pivot as you describe (the left sweep) correctly, only I was doing a manual pivot. I think the explanation is that the people getting opposite results were using a 1/2 tip RIGHT, or thickening, pivot. That would explain why my results were the opposite.
I would have guessed that this video would recommend a thickening pivot up to shot 2 or 3, and then a thinning pivot on shots 3,4,5, or 4,5 as recommended on one of your other videos. If that is what the video had said, I think there wouldn't be nearly as much confusion as there is now.
To the other guys who have tried this 5 shot video: Why did you use a thickening pivot when the video recommends a left sweep?
