Do you pick up a magazine that says "Playboy" on the cover and wonder what your going to find inside? I would say you only judge a book by its cover, you asses if its good by its content.

Well, I've never heard of a fluteophone, but when I was in grade school I was a Tonette 'specialist'. I could belt out "Little Brown Jug" in my sleep.
Girls crowded around me on the walk home from school, in hopes that I'd get down with a little "Hang Down Your Head Tom Dooley" ....

Easy-E hit the nail on the head. (Go take a look in the pool hall)

I cannot even go into "bars" to play pool here on Fri & Sat nights. (we don't have pool halls up here-jest bares & red necks!) LESS intelligent people jumping up and down saying "I got one, I got one" or "I meant to do that" as they are tapping their House Cue on the edge of the table, and Slamming every ball! I need a video cam, I don't think people would believe me.

I'm not too intelligent but I can make my way around a pool table. I am attracted to a very intelligent gentleman who loves billiards...I guess that makes me smart or a smart ask.

In all seriousness, I think techy people, Engineers like pool. There's lots a math. :cool:

And for all readers of this thread, the first definition of "intellegence" in Webster is ..."The ABILITY to learn."

I too spent most of my truncated educational career devoting my time to things other than homework.

But for the past 40+ years, I have hired countless MBAs...and fired a good many of them.

Show me a person who has desire, determination and tenacity and I will show you a person who can succeed mightily.

Half the BILLIONAIRES in the world do not have college educations.

And just for the record...I am working on my second billion.........
I gave up on the first!

there seem to be some pretty well informed and intelligent people that post on here. of course there seem to be some people that're pretty close minded. in the pool world there seem to be a lot of people from all walks of life
 
ppl yoosed to think i was Stupit, but then i bot hookt on fonicks and now i rite like a champione and I almost never loose at pool anymore.
