!!Donate parts for me to build a cue!!

Dont know if anyone would be willing to do this or not but thought I would try it out.

I am wanting to build my 1st, 2 piece cue. I have a really nice McDermott house cue I have cut in half to start this process..

If someone would be willing to donate collars, buttcap, pin, a shaft, tap....enough for me to make 1, 2 piece cue, I will do this, take pictures of the process and post them on here. When this cue is finished, I will send it to whoever donates the items to me to see how jacked up the cue is  If the cue is halfway good, all I ask is you sell the cue, and donate the money to a worthy organization which we will decide on. Or send it to me, and I will sell it and donate the money.

I am not trying to gain anything monetarily out of this, just experience, and fun.

If you feel you would like to take part in this and I am sure, get a good laugh...:groucho:

Is your donor card up-to-date at DMV?

"!!Donate parts for me to build a cue!!"

Ok ftgokie, as long as you have your organ donor card up-to-date at DMV, I donate your thighbone for the shaft, the top of your skull for the butt-cap, your ribs spliced together for the forearm...

...oh wait, you said "donate parts FOR me to build a cue," not "donate parts OF me to build a cue"...

:D

j/k,

Would that mean a lung for a lathe and a kidney for some aged shaft wood materials? I envy your drive to start building cues. I've wanted to do that also, but don't have the equipment nor the wood stock to begin. Actually, I think a good start would be joint protectors. That is what Jim Baxter did.

Sean....always one in the crowd :grin-square: I meant to say, donate YOUR body parts...your thumb bone would be a good ferrule;)

I will donate a tip. Probably not the one you expect.:kma::rotflmao:

Yeah!!! That's how to screw-up ftgokie's thread! I love it! :D :D :D

You know, he can always call the morgue...

"<ring> <ring>"
"Hello, this is the city morgue; you stab 'em, we slab 'em!"

:D

(Sorry ftgokie, I'm just enjoying a nice brew-ski, enjoying the Mosconi Cup. Seriously, I hope you get the CUE PARTS you need.)

ftgokie, I was going to join in and make some smartazz remark about you sending me parts to build a porsche but you seem to be such a good sport it wouldn't be any fun. I think you have found the ultimate weapon against wiseguys.

Nice dogs you have there 12310bch (damn thats hard to type for some reason) My 16yr old nephew will have a good Christmas this year, my 8yr old son suggested we get Trent (my nephew) a coon dog for Christmas....HOLY CRAP:eek: Whoduh thunk a really good coon dog would cost 1200.00..me personally, I never got into coon hunting, but Trent sure does....so at least he will have a really good dog to use..

As far as the porsche....Wasnt there a porn star named Porsche? Maybe she was one of Tiger Woods g/f on the down low:wink:
