I just uploaded some new free content from the Runout Media Video Magazine. Production quality at it's finest (or so I like to pretend).

New features:
1) Video Magazine - Rack Attack Review with Rodney Morris
2) Video Magazine - Extreme English with Mika Immonen

Older (surprises me how few people have seen these):
3) Video Magazine - A Day in the Life of Mika Immonen
4) Video Magazine - 2010 World Pool Masters Coverage
5) Video Magazine - Mika Immonen VS Big Tony Push Up Battle
6) Video Magazine - Extreme English with Rodney Morris
7) Video Magazine - Behind the Scenes at SBE & BCAPL
8) Video Magazine - 2010 US Open Ten Ball Highlights

I have about 4 hours of edited content that I'll be releasing over the next handful of weeks. Subscribe to my Youtube channel for updates: http://www.youtube.com/user/RunoutMedia

thanks Nathan.. I love seeing a professional editing job and I love seeing HD content.

Can you share your feelings on Exposureroom, vimeo and youtube, as far as uploading your HD footage? I haven't tried exposureroom yet, I got a account but haven't uploaded anything yet. I was a little turned off by their player. Youtube, not sure about yet. I"ve seen a lot of buffering issues and I think they encode at a lower level.

Would be interested in what you think you will end up going with over the long haul.

Thanks Cali.

Exposure room's quality is INSANE. In fact, it's recorded at such a high bitrate that the buffering times can be unreasonable on standard connections.

Youtube sucks, but it will yield far more random traffic from searches than you'd get on any other site.

Vimeo is a healthy compromise in quality, and that's probably your best bet if you're relying on getting your traffic from the forums.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks much ! outstanding stuff !! now off to the pool table to shoot exactly like them ! :) lol ! thanks again; keep them coming !

You're a real asset to the pool world, thanks!

I'll second that. Just like Florian and Jesse A, tend to raise the bar every few months, I believe Nathan does the same in professional video production. Unless someone copies him, he is a country mile ahead of his peers at this time.
Keep it up Nate.

Thanks, Nathan. I really enjoyed watching these videos...very professional job. I tried to subscribe but couldn't get it to work. No, I am not blond...just computer illiterate. I will try again.

I really like the Extreme English series. Although, I'd like to see how they deal with problems in the rack instead of just running out.

Thanks for the support everyone. Sadly the Video Magazine endevour was a complete flop, so I won't be releasing much past Issue 3. They won't even be available for purchase anymore, so I'll release it instead on Youtube for free over the next few weeks (or months depending on what else comes up in the meantime).

The camera adds 30lbs... obviously :)

I know I don't know you Cleary, but at the end of the video Mika made me lose it.

Mika "Clap push-ups... I lost to a fat guy..."

19 is strong, too bad RunOutMedia outed your speed and hustle. ;)

I'm disappointed that the Rack Attack review with my friend Rodney Morris is giving misinformation. I patented the Rack-M-Rite Racking Template (tapping mat) system more than a decade ago. It was the first tight rack system that used the spacing of the indents to make all the balls "lean in toward the middle" and freeze solidly. I developed it while playing on the Camel Tour.

We first tested it on the Planet Pool tour local to DC area, and it was used on the short lived Billiard Channel Tour (with tournament director David Vandenburg, Paul Potier was in charge of setting up the tables and all balls were racked by APA volunteers) after the Camel Tour folded.

I sold a few to Ralf Souquet at the last of those events and it was later copied and has been used on the Euro Tour for years, most recently in the European Championships a couple of weeks ago. It is also used on the GB9 tour and has been used in the World Ten Ball Championships.

The template Rodney held up is NOT a patented Rack-M-Rite Racking Template. If you would like a tapping template, please PM me. I have some for $15 with free shipping in the US, and they are flexible enough to roll up for transport in a case pocket.

[edit] US Patent #D433,724 issued on Nov 14, 2000.

Rodney was saying that racking templates are used on the Euro tour. He was referring to the general system, rather than the specific product.

Although Rodney didn't like the idea of tapping balls, I for one very much support it for tournament play or home tables.

I noticed that you bolded the word 'patented'. If there's a problem, contact the creator of the product in the review. I'm not responsible for such things.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who offered comments and rep. Glad to see that some people enjoyed my efforts. :)

Wow Nathan! You're doing an incredible job! You really have skills and we could see them too in Mastering Pool dvd's production quality. Keep up the good job fellow countryman!
