I usually have them by now also, but expect them any day.
Placed a rather large order last week I'm thinking that they'll come with the order.

I usually have mine by now. Maybe the Doodle making people went out of business this year. One of my long time Machine shops just went out of business. That was a real shock to me. Now I am having to make more in house and get new bids from other machine shops.
 
im off the doodles list

i dont think i ordered from them this year. stock up on everything for a couple of years.thought i was doodle banned for not ordering. maybe they will still come
 
I did not get any last year. I think I only spent $1k with them last year. The doodle minimum must be higher than that!

My exact thoughts.
Actually they probably just cut it from the budget considering how poor the economy is currently. At my wife's work they've fired 30-40 people just in the last few months...some of whom have worked there for 20+ years. Then they told everyone to pick one UNPAID day off each & everyweek so that way they won't have to fire anyone else...until after the new year I'm sure.:rolleyes:
So...yes...Doodles may not be in route.:( Which truthfully is totally fine by me...especially if it helps someone keep their job.
 
I just placed an order, they said DOODLES are on the way. The mark is $1100.00 by the end of November. I just made it! PHEW!!
 
The Doodles have landed

Well, my Doodles arrived today. Last year, I didn't get them until after the first of the year. I can't remember when they arrived the year before that.
I thought it was a pretty special deal when I first started getting them but now that I can't eat nuts, I'll pick at the ones that are nut-less and feed the rest to the chipmunks at my shop. They go crazy for them. They're not real fond of the sugar by they do love the nuts. Thanx Atlas. Chip & Dale thank you too.
 
I was in the shop coring some Figured Sapele, Curly Hard Maple, and Pomelle Bubinga- when I came out a few minutes ago, I discovered Santa had left my doodles at my doorstep! Yum.
I'm sure everyone else will get theirs soon! Happy Holidays all.
 
Dang, I only spent $720.91.

Hopefully this economy is turning around. My full time gig is in the automotive industry. We now have everyone back from layoff, plus Jan 1 we get back the 10% salary cut they took from us in March. That will taste better than those freaking Doodles!
