The IPT also showed us how not to pay the participants. I'll take the differentiation in attire anyday. Greg has earned the respect of virtually everyone in the billiard community for not only turning out the best product in pool table market but also for running the premier event for everyone in the pool community, not just the pros. The event is about pool and not about flash and flare. I appreciate the effort that Greg and staff put in every year and I can't think of anything off hand that demands drastic change.Tim5000 said:I also have seen everything from sweats, tee-shirts, hats, and good ole boys who look like they just got off the farm tractor. I think it needs to be enforced a little better. Sorry to mention the "I" word, but if nothing else, the IPT showed us a little class as far as enforcing dress code and overall production quality.

I've made no secret that I'm one of the DCC's biggest fans and will trip over my own feet to defend it and promote it...Ktown D said:The IPT also showed us how not to pay the participants. Oh, and I heard a rumor that new members of the squad get free beer from Timberly. You better bring your wallet.![]()
LOL, I never thought that. I assumed it was one of two things... you wanted to wear headphones and/or a hat.PoolBum said:Just so everyone who felt like posting on this thread knows I wasn't asking about the dress code because I wanted to be able to dress like I just got off the farm tractor.
Judging by your avatar, I assumed the question was regarding a hat. I personally wouldn't care if you dressed like a farmer, as long as you make balls. It worked for Luther Lassiter.PoolBum said:Just so everyone who felt like posting on this thread knows I wasn't asking about the dress code because I wanted to be able to dress like I just got off the farm tractor.
