The Drexeline 14.1 Qualifier completed this afternoon with the top 2 spots going to Zion (AKA: Too Long Break) Zvi and Bob Chamberlain. Room owner Bob Maidhof runs a first class tournament and has a first class pool room. Thanks to Bob for hosting the event.

Almost forgot...the macaroni salad he sells is the nuts!!!

NOT TO GET ANYTHING TWISTED OR BRAGGING BUT I WON AND ZION CAME IN 2ND.THE ONLY REASON FOR ME TO CLARIFY THIS IS BECAUSE I BEAT ZION AND PUT HIM IN THE LOSERS SIDE.THE WINNER OF THE WINNERS BRACKET RECEIVES FIRST PLACE AND AN ENTRY INTO THE WORLD 14.1 AND 2ND PLACE GETS THE SAME ENTRY.THE ONLY CONFUSION AT ALL WAS THAT THE RULES BY CHARLIE WILLIAMS WAS THAT IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN INVITE INTO THE WORLD 14.1 YOU CAN NOT PLAY IN ANY QUALIFIERS AS THERE WOULD NO REASON TO HAVE TO PLAY UNLESS YOU WERE BROKE AND NEEDED TO GET AN ENTRY AT A CHEAPER PRICE.THAT WAS NOT MY CASE FOR SURE,HOWEVER ED DESKA DECLINED HIS INVITE FROM CHARIE SO HE COULD PLAY IN THE QUALIFIERS AND ZION WAS ALREADY INVITED BY CHARLIE WILLIAMS BUT SNUCK INTO THIS QUALIFIER WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING THAT HE WAS ALREADY INVITEDTO THE WORLD 14.1.TO SIMPLY PUT IT HE MUST BE BROKE AND NEEDED TO GAIN ENTRY CHEAPER.AS ALWAYS I TELL IT LIKE I SEE IT AND IF ANYBODY HAS A PROBLEM WITH THAT THEY CAN ACCEPT IT OR MEET ME IN THE PARKING LOT.

Zion should not recieve the qualifier spot as he was already invited. Dragon made it clear that invited players can't play in the qualifiers, this spot should now go to the 3rd place finisher. JMO

That's the rule as I heard it, too. Charlie Williams told John Lavin that Bobby Hunter can't play in his qualifier at Red Shoes because Bobby has already been invited.

Likewise, this Zion fellow should not be able to break the rule and take a spot from someone else.

dr. michael frank and he should get the spot for 3rd. instead of that snake zion.i will be right in touch with charlie williams concerning this matter immediately.this does not exactly have nothing to do with what zion did to me at the maryland tourney,however he knew exactly the deal with charlie and i fully intend to expose this to charlie and everybody else in every forum and billiard publication i can especially if it is not taken care of by charlie williams for this happening.in all fairness at this point to charlie he does not know about this but he will hear from me and i am sure after charlie has sent out emails to me and everybody else it clearly states in bold lettering exactly i copied and pasted this.

Qualifiers are open to all players, male or female, with the exception of players who have already been invited.

All qualifiers are $105 entry fee.
Race to 100 Double Elimination
Top 2 finishers in each event will win free entry into the 69th Predator World 14.1 Championship

I first saw you play at the MD 14.1 tourny this year. Hope you do well at the worlds.

I started this as a thread to congratulate Zion and Bobby and to thank Bob Maidhof...as often happens on AZ it has turned negative. Before we hang someone are we all sure ZIon did not turn down his invite to the Worlds as Ed Deska did in order to play in the qualifier's?

Don't let those fukkers get to you. Most folks in pool fail to give a crap about anything except what they think is best for them in the short term
