jeff your giving us all WOOD.....really nice pieces..mickey

Jeff, put me down for the 2nd or 3rd piece of bacote if you would. That piece of (looks like cocobolo) on the left bottom piece of the two stacks of wood may look good with the honduras handle. Maybe pau ferro for the last cue I pmed about with bloodwood as the handle. That piece looks like it has lots of detail. They all look great!

Dam pretty wood you got there...

Mr. Hoppe, cut on a lathe with a router. these pieces are 14 to 15 inches the prongs i make are 12 inches long if i use points i need to cut longer to make room for my 90 degree cutter the excess just gets cut off and thrown away, also gives me a little extra room away from my tailstock when cutting. Jeff

Hey Trav,

Nice choice in wood. I have a Bacote one piece cue coming. The figure should be crazy.

Jeff, may I ask why do you like Bacote? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

Chris, i think its some of the best cue wood out there. the straight grain stuff is very stable, it reminds of cocobolo but brown alot af times the figure is the same. Jeff

Some bacote will be saving for handles looks nice to me but its very very rare that someone orders a bacote cue. Jeff
