It's hard to believe that it's been a year since I talked to him last.
Seems like yesterday.
I sure miss him a lot.
Rest in peace my friend.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Doug in person but I can tell you this much, everything he posted on the forum sold in minutes it seemed!!!

Doug is missed very much. They had a couple of pictures in the local newspaper from Brandi and his parents today. That was nice to see.

Ya that was such a trip. I talked with him a week earlier and then he was gone. So sad.......

RIP Doug

AMEN......... Troy

I've been thinking the same, Doug was always a joy talking to or arguing the price of a cue with!!!!!!! :)

EDIT: Or maybe a watch or two!!!!!! :)

Best, Todd

I met Doug at the Expo and our conversation turned from cues to watches to life experiences in general. I found him to be a nice person and great guy to chat with. He is missed by a lot of folks no doubt about it...RIP.

I had the honor of having drinks with him, Bill Schick, Mike Bender, Justin Colette, Roy Malott, Dennis Searing , and ''Cliffy'' at the SBE in 2010,,,

What a class act,, he even gave me an improptu eye exam and gave me his thoughts on Lasik vs. contact lenses,,,

Yeah,,put me down as well for ''Miss him'' a great deal,,,

Alan,,,,,,

He was always fun to talk to, I went to his house several times and bought cues. He would always go into the house and bring out a new Justis that he had bought. We would play pool for awhile when I went and then he would let me try out some new cues he had gotten. He was such a nice guy, happy, always smiling. Sorry he is gone.

Yep, a lot of us still miss that guy. Doug....I am going to buy a new Panerai in rememberence of your good self.

One of my first deals on AZ was with Doug. We spoke on the phone a few times and it was a very easy deal. I always looked forward to his posts as he always listed the nicest pool equipment and at great prices. When I read of his passing a year ago, I was very sad as it should not have been his time. You are missed by many, Doug.
