I have had this cue for almost a week now. Unbelievable!! Scroll down for my pics.

Just wanted to show off my new cue in the works over at Bob Dzuricky's shop. Again, Bob has been a pleasure to work with and this cue is shaping up to be flawless.
I am trying to go old school style with this one. It will get a Blue Mountain White/Green linen wrap. Two shafts: one with my favorite set up of Juma/Black Pad/Triangle and one with REAL micarta/Red Pad/Triangle. The cue will come in right around 19oz.

Let me know what you think. I'll update this thread when I receive more pics and a review after I receive the cue.

Whole cue.

Excellent color combination. Love the ringwork at the joint and above the butt cap. Can't wait to see the finished product. Thanks for posting these pictures, looking forward to more.

I absolutely love Bob's shaft taper! Damn...didn't even think to ask what was in the works when I was down there last weekend! Coming along nicely from one of the BIGGEST underated cue makers. Very nice ;)

Micarta Machining

Thought you guys would find this interesting. Bob is doing some work with REAL Micarta I provided for one of my ferrules. I was able to secure a nice size sheet of the stuff; and since I like the hit, I am having one made for my new cue. Bob has documented the process on his site. Check out: <http://dzcues.com/ferrules.htm#micarta%20machining>
Im telling you all; the man is in a class all his own. If you dont have a DZ, you are missing one of the best playing cues from one of the best cue makers out there. Look about 3/4 the way down the page for the process.
Bob Dzuricky is the man!

Wow... nevermind. For some reason the page in the browser was stuck, and wouldn't drop below the picture on his site. That was odd, but I have the contact info now!

Bob does excellent work. He came to visit me about 10 or 12 years ago, when he was getting ready to set up his CNC machine, I believe. I knew right away from the questions he asked and his enthusiasm that he would one day, be a top cue builder! I'm sure you'll be very happy with your cue!
