DZ or Tascarella? HELP!?!?

Hell, if you are gonna use asawdust and glue shaft... Might as well save yourself a couple k and skip the custom.

buy a used tasc that has already taken the depreciation
that way you will never lose much if any money

Order the Dzuricky....I did and couldn't be happier. Class guy who does spectacular work at a fair and reasonable cost.

You are gonna take a Stradivarius and put nylon guitar strings on it...help yourself to it.

Few things in life are funnier than a 4x4 on low profile tires spun out in a snowy ditch.

Could the input I had not actually have been correct? You will hardly feel a difference between 2 cues that have the same shaft. You could get a mid-line jacoby and then buy yourself a better attitude with the $2000 you'd save, vs. the Tasc...add more # for the predator there too.

Yeah, a stadivarius ? yes, a cue and a violin, almost the same thing. What diff does it matter what shaft he puts on it ? If he likes one better, why would he not use it. Like you said, it matters not what butt it is, so put the best shaft on the prettiest butt and that's your cue.

Plus, when he goes to sell in 5 or 10 years, the original shafts will be MINT, unchalked condition, and thus cue will be worth more. Kind of a win/win. '
Heck, many custom cuemakers will fit an LD shaft to the cue if you prefer it that way. Why do they care if you like an LD shaft or not, as long as the check clears.

Glad to hear you might be considering the natural shafts provided by the maker, though it affects me not. I do believe that putting an aftermarket shaft on a cue overrides hit characteristics developed by the builder. Not that LD shafts don't have a place in the market or some advantages over the other...

You should probably read the forum rules. Name calling is a no-no and you are up to two, in this thread alone.
