Earl and SVB

Shane didnt dump.......His missed a few easy shots to seal the deal, but failed letting earl back in.......Thats pool for ya........Ya just never know

No, I think he was sick and unfocused.

^^ This.

I've never seen or read anything about Shane to indicate that he would dump a match. Ever.

That said, if a top pro were to dump a match, there are more convincing ways to do it than to repeatedly miss easy shots on an open table late in the rack.

I am not saying Shane dumped, but, do you think Shane dumped?

Of course NOT. UR kind of an arse for even implying it. Nothing like attacking someone's integrity with ZERO proof.

He was playing Earl "friggin" Strikland. And Earl seems to own the 10 footers, he made some shots look like gimmes that SVB shanked a few times..... SVB is still one of the best in the biz... and it was a great match, but somebody has to lose.... and I'm pretty sure this was a coin filp to begin with....... there was prob just as much money on Earl as SVB..... I liked Earl but didn't get me bet down in time :(

This post shows that you know NOTHING about Shane Van Boening. He doesn't have ANY dump in him...regardless of the circumstances. Very uncool for you to even suggest this. You owe Shane an apology, and you can be sure he will read this thread (he posts here).

Shane definitely deserves an apology, he is a member here, but hasn't posted here in years, and I doubt he reads the forum anymore.

I for one wish he would come back.

If you watched the match, at the end of the match after it was over Shane was complaining about the red circle cue ball squirting on shots and Earl was agreeing. Then Shane took the cue ball and just sort of bounced it out onto the table. Maybe you missed this part of the match.

Why are so many people on this forum incapable of giving a civil answer to an honest question. Like the game we love doesn't have a history of hustlers and crooks? Like this game has only been played by gentlemen and men of unquestionable scruples and character !! Lol maybe he doesn't know much about him as a player. It's an honest question and deserves no apology.

The civil answer ..
From someone who has watched him play quiet often I believe without a shadow do a doubt no...absolutely not! He loves the game and winning and he to me does not seem capable of dumping. I think he wants to beat earl to bad!

Shane missed some fairly easy shots, off the points, he really should have won the set.

What I liked was the way he was half-smiling at the stuff Earl was doing.

very unsportsmanlike for a site that is always peeing and moaning about gambling, calling for good sportsmanship, and other supposed ills of pool in general. just practicing the "golden rule" when pool cohorts start to yammering would cure most of the ills i imagine. you think?

Because first, you would need a civil question. And the OP implied that SVB possibly dumped and started a thread about it. That is just in plain bad taste. Not to mention the OP looks like a real DBag for starting this non sense..... and we wonder why pool players would ever want to waste their time on azb ??

I really don't like this statement.

There is not one sporting event that somebody couldn't have made a post
like this if there was no fear of recrimination.

IF incontrovertible proof was available....I would bet the match was on the
square.....
...and I have high-rolled a few times in my life....
..gotta a feeling I would get zero action.

I enjoyed the match, regardless who won. Two deserving champions. With so many watching live and online, there is almost zero chance of anyone dumping, especially these 2 players. They always want to win, that is their character, that is been their history.
