I ran a pic of earl on facedouble.com and it suggested james woods. I can kind of see it around the nose and chin especially. It had a few other suggestions, one of which is clint eastwood. I think clint would have no trouble with that role.

Oh man if Clint would do it

I'd make my theatre do a midnight release just for me if need be.

I'd love to see that lol.

EDWARD NORTON IS EARL STICKLAND: Coming to a Theater near you

Nice video !! Earl has always been amazing on those wing shots.

As far as who plays Earl in the movie, It's coming right?, I like Edward Norton. I think he could capture Earl well.

That's strong...he claims he made it because of a certain bridge that Jimmy "King James" Rempe showed him many years ago....only Earl, you're right.

When Earl teaches, he emphasizes the bridge like crazy- i assume it is that one

The Bridge he used to shoot the Million Dollar Shot was one off the rail.

The Bridge he used to shoot the Million Dollar Shot was one off the rail...I can't remember how he said he did it, but it's in the interview I did with him in Tunica. He does know a lot about the different bridges...and they are important of course.

Bob, I think you would be a good choice to play me in the movie. You're better looking and have a nice smile. Plus you're a helluva lot smarter!
And, for the time being, I have more hair. Too bad that this guy is no longer available:

Not edgy enough -- too Canadian, eh. How about Mel Gibson?

Ahhh...yes....so Mel Gibson can play Earl and Jim Carrey can be Earl's alter-ego.

Now that would be interesting conversation. :)

these two could play John McChesney and Robin as the other two Tournament Directors

Now that's what I'm talking about!
Sorry Bob, you're out!

What do you think, these two could play John McChesney and Robin as the other two Tournament Directors ... :groucho:

I didn’t realize the first thread was 9 years old. I guess I should start looking at the dates.

It's OK, the subject is current again with the making of the "Real Story" documentary. We've already planning a movie and trying to "cast it".
