Who's playing in a tournament right now???????? This is between Earl and Shane....YOU have nothing to do with it, YOU have no vested interest, YOU have NO say in how they're playing or NOT playing. Shane has it right, when he's at the table, he's in CONTROL of his game and he knows it. Beating Earl straight up is one thing, but beating Earl after he's done EVERYTHING to try and pull Shane out of his game...is PRICELESS!!!!!!!

Well said Glen, As you progress in this sport you either learn to tune the bs out or get your lunch ate. The best players can have a car drive into the building during their shot and never hear it. Their concentration is that focused... I play a very famous player one pocket on a regular basis. The more i beat him the more he talks and whines. Even for ten bucks a game...lol It great sharking practice for me...
I find it funny myself and use a little reverse sharking. The other day he even walked over to the table and bent down in front of my shot to make sure i heard him... I simply stood up off the shot and said "were you talking to me Buddy?" It frustrated him so badly that he quit soon after. He also has the most famous sharking story ever and is very proud of it.
Shane has the physical ability to tune others out completely, some people believe thats a big part of what makes him a great player
 
i agree with cobra. even though i am rooting for earl, if shane wins then he WINS and beats earl at his own game. and if others beat you with there game and you lose, its your fault. if ur scared to get sharked then dont play. people talk during pool and people get mad when they mess up. is that makes you feel strange then dont play.
 
Id love to watch earl sack up and play shane in a no b.s. ruled or gaffed table long match...wont ever happen cause he knows he couldn't hang.

If the pearl was as good as he once was, he shouldn't need to change how pot gets placed, or where the other guy can break from.....the dude is a clown and will get straight up owned if he were to just play a real set with shane.


Sack up earl, please show us how you stack up with no bs involved.








Im guessing their next set will be last pocket....

The Saw made a statement about TOURNAMENT matches where Earl plays other pros and sharks them. I was referring to a tournament match Earl and i played and i was agreeing with the Saw. Those two posts had NOTHING to do with YOU. ZERO, ZIP, NADA. So in the future if the posts dont pertain to you take your own advice and stay out of them.

I guess you MISSED the interview with Earl where he said flat out, he can't beat Shane with his break, and that the only chance he has to beat Shane in this match was to try and slow Shane down some by restricting his breaks...I'd call that respect for Shane's abilities to play, wouldn't you? Straight up even out the gate, Earl knows he has no chance to beat Shane, and has come right out and said so, but...do you see anyone else willing to play Earl under the game rules they're playing by? What Earl and Shane are doing right now, is playing straight up 9ball, taking out the break of the game for them both, turning this match into a real shooters game, to determine who's the best shooter when it comes to making balls overall, not who can break and run out the most and win....why can't people see that and understand what these guys are really playing here.

Where are all the other world beaters? Where are all the other true gentlemen? Why don't they step up and play Shane, for the $$$?

Earl has his issues, and for that there is no doubt. But at least he tries to set up a match with Shane ,for the cash. And apparently his demands aren't too far out of line, since Shane keeps accepting them.

Oh yeah, that, and because no one else seems to be willing to step up and play him. At least Earl has game.
 
Shane is putting the screws to Earl and Earl has all but given up. I think that this might be the end of the Earl/Shane show......

i don't really know if this is true, but considering the low amounts of money that pro-pool brings these days do you think the best players in the game are actually visible?

was your 16k game on television RKC? I think not .... we have to wonder if we are watching the best..
