Earl/Shane Scoreboard

For years us "older folks" have been talking about the play of the past, and the "young" guys always said that todays players would clean their clocks. Well, NOW you get to see what it was like back then! THIS Earl (play wise) is what everyone had to deal with! Now you know WHY he has the titles that he does!

This is also on a table that is larget than Shane has ever played on and that alone can make a huge difference. I sure didnt hear you talking about how good Earl played when Shane roasted him on a 9 foot.

Give Earl his due credit man.. The guy was a beast back then and still an amazing player who can beat anyone at any given time if his mind is right.

SVB wins.

Earl leads 42-27

SVB shot well that game.....not because he won, but because he let his stroke out....

Sorry Neil I think the modern era started with Earl and by the level of his play I consider him one of today's players and not just a relic or a legend.

Love him or hate him you have to at least admit "king kong aint got nothin on him" He aspires to be playing into his 60s at a competitive level and I can only hope his eyes and coordination let him..

Oh Yeah GO EARL!!!!!!!!

Shane is a champion

Shane is a champion, so this is not criticism, but a question. Did he practice on a ten footer before this match? We have known about this match for months.

Listen to what he is saying. Earl is from the other generation...he won the barbox 8ball championship and is kicking some but on a 10 footer....

All we are saying is that Earl can still hang with and compete with the best of this current generation..... not too shabby....and shows you what speed he had in his day,and it was nothing less that what they have today, because he is pushing 50 and still haning with the big boys.....

svb missed shot costs him the game.

Earl leads 43-27

Earl still had some work to do, but took care of biz with great run out...

Here's another pic of the Earl
