does anyone know what kind of cue earl played with before cutec ?
Earl played with a Moochie for years. I'm not sure when he changed but was using Moochie through out the late 80's. Yeah he seldom missed a ball thats just the way Earl played................
Pinocchio
I think he changed shortly before the color of money match with Efren. In that match he played with a white Cuetec.
Earl should have gotten at least four games on the wire for that.
I was told Earl played with a Meucci. I can't remember seeing him play with anything but Cuetec though.
Here is a IPT challenge match with Archer .... Interview before the match Earl says he playedCuetec for 17 years and "literally destroyed my game"

Hilarious
did the Meucci really help it, lol?
Moochies can play awesome...seriously. I can take a Moochie red dot sneaky...remove the pin & replace with a big radial pin...bore the brass out of the shaft and replace with wood or phenolic and bore & tap to accept the radial pin...add a set of joint collars....then replace the hollow ferrule with a shorter, quality ferrule material & a premium tip. When complete it will actually hit & play about as well as anything you can buy. Seriously...I've done more than a few.

Hahahaha. That's awesome. Then again... I don't exactly play with a quality cue...Moochies can play awesome...seriously. I'm on a budget, ok!
I bought a Cuetec once... I would almost rather have one of those bad bank loans... Man... horrid... Not saying Scorpion is top quality... but I sure like it better than the Cuetec.
At one point in his career he played with a Meucci 84-8.
There's a ton of pros who played with Meucci's back in the 70's - 80's.
