It's hard to imagine that with all the smarts involved in this one not having a gyro balancing modified 9'r, for space and weight constraints you understand.

When I see it go through a substantial storm on George's Banks in October unscathed I will be impressed. Till then it is an ugly duckling to me..

me thinking with nearly 2000 souls supporting the 500 or so researchers there has gotta be an handy escape for that friendly challenge to their brain exercises.
 
Some day someone will invent smart balls that find the pocket. It's just a matter of time.
 
Kind of reminds me of a modern version of the Titanic. The ocean could swallow that and it's giant eight ball like a cork. For all our high tech capabilities we are still very frail creatures on this Earth, and every once in a while we get reminded, like we did during the last year when the Pandemic ravaged the whole globe.
