Just imagine a guy with health problems too (or other problems) working and trying saving money(with a lot of difficulties) to buy a decent cue.He has the money after months he buys the cue and then?Just imagine how he feels after he reailises that this cue isn't what he thought he would get.I've been in this situation 2-3 times and you can't imagine how sad it is...

I knew it was crooked because almost all of his are, but to fall apart in the hands of a top cue maker who has befriended Jeff enough to help him by answering cue making questions. That's too much. Bob

Alright here is the video of me rolling the cue on my Gold Crown.

In this picture please notice the Taper on the shaft. It looks like the ocean it is so wavy.

In this picture you can see 2 things, 1 the poor finish work and the extreme taper to get the butt matched up with the shaft.
242683_224_full.jpg

Another picture of the extreme taper on the butt. I wish I had a Micrometer to show you just how big the butt is.

You can see the dirty material used for the "Hoppe" ring.

Last picture is his signature. Looks like it was scratched in and then ink inserted into the scratches.

Seriously Jeff? This was your response? I find myself a pretty reputable seller/buyer on here and I honestly feel that you are trying to stick it us. I hate fussing over $175 but morals really mean something to me and I gave you a chance to make things right.

The photos you posted are a joke, you have no close ups. The craftsmanship is horrible and I know why you dont want the cue back. You say your just looking for a chance to get your work out there, well Ill do all I can to warn potential buyers. I am really sorry it worked out like this.

The joint in your picture also looks like it was tapered with sand paper. You know even if the cue did warp in two months a DECENT Cue builder would stand behind his work. You have two guys you need to get a refund. Do the right thing.

Do what you feel you must.I hope you have good luck with all things (im being a smart @@@ when I say this)I mad my offer to your friend and it still stands. As far as Bob C. ,if he told the truth, which he wont because it would end the drama he likes so much.So his words mean nothing to me. Jeff

All you offered was a Refinish... That is in NO WAY fair. So bottom line is you are only going to offer a refinish? No refund... I should have read up about you before I told him to buy the cue. If that cue was in a bar on the rack people would avoid it.. Oh and Im NOT being sarcastic about that.

Yeh I know...... First bad experience on AZ. I guess it was bound to happen.

I just watched the video again and I have to ask ,where did the Laminated Shaft come from? The shaft I put on it was a str8 grain (#2)maple and a macarta ferrule .It may not be a lam. shaft but it sure looks that way when it got close to the cam. Jeff
This my last post in this .Agian good luck .

Thats your shaft not a laminated shaft. So you never gave me an answer? You arent standing behind your work correct? So my friend just has to eat the cost?

Oh and that is not a Super Pro tip either. I hope you can continue to learn on your new $1000 Lathe. Now I know why you were tight on money and needed to sell this cue that you built on a tip repair lathe....

Email from Jeff to my friend:

HI Keegan,When I said I'd have to see it b4 I would do anything that is what I ment. The video does nothing but make me think he's done something. If I see it and it's my fault then you are rt.I had the refund ready to send out to you in a money order form but Bob C calling and cussing at me put a stop to everything.Maybe I was wrong for letting piss me off so much.Jeff

Geee thanks a lot BobC ;) I am kidding! I guess you hurt his feelings and he decided to rip up OUR money order.

With Jeffs idea of right and wrong, i don't think anyone else should donate any more money to this G E N T L E M A N even if he gets lucky and produces a half fast cue. GOOD LUCK Mr. Eason with your sales on AZ Billiards and elsewhere. Hopefully your reputation will not precede you. As you know, Leon still holds my cue waiting for you to change your mind and refund my $130.00. Leon even suggested that you should refund for mine and all bad cues that are popping up so as to save your reputation. Don't guess you care, too bad, it didn't have to be that way. By the way, i can afford the $130.00 loss, can you afford what you are doing to yourself ? Bob C.
