I'm not getting into this all over again Mr. Eason but I have a lot of better things to spend my money on than a WARPED cue. Yes you're right I jumped the gun I gave you a positive rating before taking the cue to a pool hall and rolling it.....
Since I don't flip cues here on az and you guaranteed satisfaction or money back I asked you for my refund.
Interesting that a few others also got warped cues from you, but hey take it as a learning experience and go from there.

My experience
I have a friend who is an AZ'er here that purchased a set of buckhorn joint protectors from Mr. Eason. When they arrived a month over due they did not even screw together with themselves correctly. The joints were not flush...The pins were not true and the pin length on one of the shaft pieces was longer than the other one. They were so bad my friend threw them in the trash after showing them to me and wrote it off as a $45 mistake. A month or so later I posted a thread wanting somebody to make me a nice set of protectors for a cue I owned. Mr. Eason soon replied to my thread offering to make me some. At this time I informed him of what he had sent my friend and what I thought about it. He then told me he had new equipment and was going to make my friend a new set and send them out to him... Needless to say he never sent anything to my friend and I purchased my joint protectors elsewhere.

Don't be so quick to judge someone that you do not know or have never met ... I know Jeff and he is a great person who is trying hard to make it in a business that is very tough ...He is just starting out and I am not saying that he has not had mistakes or that his work is perfect ... I know that he made me a Purple Heart Sneaky Pete that I love and will not part with ... The cue rolls straight and hits great... He has a J/B and another cue in the works for me that have been in the works for a little while now ... I think Jeff has turned out some good work and it looks as if from this thread he has also turned out some work that some of you are not to happy with ...
I was invlolved with the deal with Iowa player and he was not happy with his deal ... He contacted Jeff and they worked something out .. He did not call Jeff cussing him out over the phone with his wife and kids in the room and being irate and unsensible ... And he found a way to come on here and voice his opinion without personally attacking Jeff ... What is wrong with you I know your not happy about the cue but you can voice that without the personal attacks ... I've heard that you would sell the cue for 30.00 or give it away or burn it ... If that is true and you are not just blowing off hot air I'lll buy the cue off you or trade you for it ... Just shoot me a PM maybe we can work something out ... Heck I will even save you on postage as I travel up to Pennsylvannia alot to see all of my family and Maryland is right on the way I could just drop it off to you ...
Being unhappy with the cue you bought is natural if you don't like it , Voicing your opinion about the cue and what you think of it while it may not make Jeff feel good it is natural too... But to come on here and level personal attacks at someone is childish, inmature and just mental and I have to wonder about your state of mind. I have not been around Jeff as much recently because I have been playing alot on the road with a group of friends and hitting tourny's and games in other towns but to see this and the way you are handling it makes me sick ... Everyone else in this thread has posted and made thier displeasure known without all the personal attacks ... I repped Iowa Player because I know what he and Jeff went through but he made his post with class and made it known he was not happy with the deal but did not attack the man personally ...Even wished him the best even though he lost 40.00 in shippng charges ...

Also you don't personally know Jeff or any matters him or his family are going through. You know nothing about the guy other then he sold you a cue your not happy with . I don't think I would be eager to make things right with you if you called my house several times and cussed me out in front of my wife and kids to add to whatever other problems the family is dealing with... Jeff just sent me a cell phone message that i have saved, telling me to stop slandering him by talking about him on AZ billiards or he will notify the authorities. How about all you other AZers will he do the same to you for making true statements about his cues and no-return policies that he has just adopted? I don't see any slandering going on by anybody. If one buys a product and is junk then is the seller's responsibility to to satisfy the buyer.

What really boggles my mind is, who would seriously accept money let alone ship out a cue in that kind of condition? My friend with the Ebony Sneaky has pretty much given up hope on getting the money back because of the lack of communication. I feel that he has been very understanding of Jeff's illness and all the medications he has been on but 2 Months wait is kind of rediculous. Initially you told him that you were in a tight spot and you would ship a refund asap. That was a month into the whole ordeal. Then out of the blue you email him back saying that you wouldnt do a refund but you would refinish for free.. I know all he complained about was the finish but I actually received the cue upon shipping and I was amazed this cue left your hands. It looked like it was tapered with sandpaper literally. I believe you know who I am speaking of, he is a great guy with a big heart and he feels that he is getting burned.
Straycat, you are a handsome lad and would make a great elevator man. Enough humor. Look at the tape job on the Mc Dermott cue that he is refinishing. One piece of tape is on the underwrap where it belongs, the other is covering part of the forearm that needs to be painted. Wow! maybe it's the meds. By the way, he told the terminal cancer story for sympathy. He does not have cancer. That's what i was told. It's B.S.

I now have my friends cue in my posession and am working on Video and Detailed photos of the cue. I was advised this is the only way he is going to even consider a refund.... I think that is bogus but I dont want to see my friend get burned. If you believed in the cues you built you would have no problem taking the cue back because you know you could resell it. I feel that you fear you would not be able to resell the cue. Which means you shouldnt be selling cues until they are worthy PERIOD.
