Eating Crow: FargoRate and Siming Chen

Crow has historically been eaten in the US. I have personally slaughtered many with a little sawed off and eaten them...after drawing them in with split open trash bags :) :) the nasty little shits.

I like Siming and Fargo and pool. Does she play any other games besides 9 and 10?

i think the majority on here at some point were siming sceptics. i know i had to see 3-4 matches before i was convinced

Yeah. But it brings up big questions. Is "eating crow" morally creepy?

Tough to say, but according to Wikipedia "Crows and members of the crow family such as jackdaws, magpies and ravens are not kosher" so if any religious Jews post here, they shouldn't eat crow.

Agreed.
To my knowledge, there has never been a woman athlete in any sport who is better than the best men in that sport.

Uneven Parallel Bars

Maybe this a list of "men shouldn't even bother trying."

If she had one of these, that would have taken less than a minute:

I have changed my prior stance that Siming Chen's Fargorate was inflated due to the top women being "not as well coupled" to the top men.

I now believe she plays as good as her rating, and actually is an even match with the likes of Corey, Skylar, Bergman, and others close to her rating.

I changed my mind due to watching her play with my own eyes. This included ghost matches, tournament matches against other current top women, tournament matches in the recent US Open (and scores of her non-streamed matches), and action matches against current top women and men.

I hope she snaps off a big men's tournament in the coming years.

I told you so!

thought this would be an appropriate place to link this newly uploaded video of siming playing shane some sets before the US Open. races to 11. very good watch
Thanks for the link! I watched the first set. Very impressive play by Siming. She only missed two shots I can recall in the entire match - the first one when leading 10-7 when running out on the verge of closing him out and came up a bit short on her shape on the 7-ball and leaving a harder than necessary cut shot in the corner, which she undercut. She didn't get any chances after that until the hill-hill game following a safety battle and a jump shot safety by Shane leaving Siming a long tough cut shot on the 3-ball, which she showed some indecision deciding what to do, and then over-cut the ball just slightly. Shane had to then make a tough table length shot on the 3-ball then execute a relatively easy (for him) jump shot on the 4-ball, then ran out.

I'm looking forward to checking out the next 2 sets when I get a chance, but anyone who doesn't think Siming is capable of beating a top ranked male professional may have a different opinion after watching this tape. The only thing possibly holding her back is her lack of experience in dealing with the pressure of being in that situation in a big event, which she'll learn to handle if she continues to play in open events with the top male professional players.

If you’ve ate crow once, you never want to do it again....
...Quoth the raven, “Nevermore.”

That is one of your better ones.. not saying the others were not good, this was just precious :)

“Fear Factor “, we have all experienced it. Makes it hard to finish against a player you know you aren’t supposed to beat. I like it when I don’t know the player I am up against.

She obviously seeks out the strongest players. A good way to get better. I applaud her. Against a weaker player (in a big event) she makes that 7 with perfect shape.
