Ebay listing-Legit or Scamola??

It is hard to believe all the fantastic deals you can find on Ebay these days....:D

Here is a great find. Not one, but a pair of Tascarella cues on Ebay.

These were also specially made for one of Pete's friends..

At present, only $1000, but there are no pics and a zero feedback seller...

Scam. Seller signed up the same day the cue was listed. The text was written as if there were photos. I seem to remember this text and story from a year or two ago.

Whats worse is, people bid on these auctions (20 bids so far on this one alone)!
Are there people out there really that naive?

Maybe just not educated.
But if they send any money, they will get educated very quickly.

How could anyone really fall for an auction like this?? An ebayer who just decides that his first transaction will be to sell a set of Tascarellas...what an idiot. I did send the guy a question...I asked is I could come pick up the cues in person with cash because he live's only 45 minutes away. I'm just curious what he'll say.

they said i could come get the cues in person with cash.....................

Good. Now ask for a phone number and if you can inspect them before you bid today.

Chris

BTW...what would a cue like this be worth? Would 1500 be stealing this cues or what? I'll go pick the cue up with cash.

Sounds EXACTLLY like the scam from earlier this week about the Hercek cue...
I wonder if these people are overseas or within the US.

A signed Tascarella with inlays at least $2500 by itself, an easy sale. If you familiarize yourself with the signature should be OK. I wouldn't bring cash unless you can verify who the people are and you're certain it's safe.

I sent her another question requesting a phone number and asked if I could drive there to see the cues before the auction ended. This time she responded with "Sorry but I have already an potential buyer. If it doesn`t work out,I`ll email you.Thank you for understanding." I hate theives and scamers!!!!

Good work. These thieves manipulate human greed. At least you dispelled any doubt you might have that the auction may be real.
