I've made this cue twice and every time I do its painfull to sell it. I amost forgot to get pictures so rite before I shipped it I snaped a few. It was a bit over cast that day so pictures could have been better. Hope you like it.

That's a nice looking cue, Dustin. I'm not normally wild about ebony, but the way you did the butt makes a lot of difference for me.

What does the cue weigh? And how does the ebony forearm affect the balance?

(Overcast is right. Summer just left us all of a sudden, didn't it?)

Look real nice Dustin...South West-ish. Love the hard curly maple. How about one with dyed veneers in the ringwork?

Los Osos

Looks nice and clean. Really makes the woods stand out. Beautiful work Dustin!

Hey Dunstin,

Beautiful cue.....Are you coming to WCCS "West Coast Cue Show" in Nov. 6 Saturday?

i like the look but imo the SW style end is a little thick. to be honest it could do without it but if you're in love with having it then i'd say take a 1/4-1/2 inch off of it.

i really like the design though. i'm a huge fan of dark cues with nice ring work!

PhotoScape...

Dustin,

Nice cue. I had an ebony Rick Howard a while back that looked very similar. It is even more striking in person!

As far as pictures go, you have a good start. One of the keys is a good photo editing program to clean up a few things.

I use a free program called PhotoScape.

Here's what it can do to a few "overcast pictures"...

Hi everyone. Thanks for the comments on the cue. Yes it is south west styish. Funny thing is I was inspired by a Rick howard cue. I dint say it at first cause so many people jump on your back when you seem to mention another cuemaker when you post pictures or your cue. The Howard cue dint have the maple in the buttsleeve so I added it so they would not be the same. I also made it bigger than sw so not to copy them outright. Again with the rings. I prefer them thiner but that would be very close to both SW and RH so I made them a bit thicker. Im only going to make one or two more with the maple stich rings the rest will have to have colored veneer worked in some how.

Thanks agian
Dustin
