Efren misses this?

We can all learn

You mean.... he's human?

He missed, gets a roll, homeboy plays safe instead of banking it in, Efren banks it in long. He's human, but he's still the magician.

Missed a fairly easy shot. But when he got back to the table checked his stroke, took a little time and did what he does best. Make a tough shot.

This Grabe guy is slow as snails. First 3 racks and 20 plus minutes? I did not notice the shot was at 32 minutes. I need faster action, like 1 pocket. :).

I have to admit, I started this thread out of boredom. It makes a big difference when you have a good commentator calling the match.

I did not mean for my comment to come off negative, if it did, sorry. After I realized to timing of the shot, I FF to the shot. I did enjoy watching the skill of the Grabe guy and think he is very good. Efren is in my opinion the greatest. I just wish I did not spend $800 in 2009, for a two hour lesson that was not a lesson. It like a private exhibition with me holding a cue.

It wasn't any one comment. No big deal. And yes Grabe played pretty well. A few mental errors but went toe to toe with Efren....right up to the end. The main thing I noticed was he had a good preshot routine.

But did anyone notice that Efren fouled right after that rack and the ref didn't call it?

that shot gets missed often, Roberto Gomez missed a similar one against Peach in the world championship finals

Is it a foul to 'practice' between games?

In this case, to stroke the cb while the ref was racking? Seems that is done every once in a while, but I haven't seen it called. I have seen players warned about hitting balls on the game table or adjacent tables while opponent on break.

Otherwise, I guess I missed it.

Seems to me that is a pretty strict definition of practicing.
How about "taking a shot that is not part of your match while the match is in progress?" Is that a reasonable definition? If not, what would you propose?
