I really appreciated that Efren was so happy for the 11 year old young man running some balls. The sport/game will be sorry to see him moving out of the regular play and into a more selective role.

Really? Seventy percent of that article was written in English with quotes in another language. It literally made no sense. Maybe American sports writers should just write the quotes of Latin baseball players in Spanish. I'm sure no one would have any problem with that.

Probably in the Manila Bulletin, an English language newspaper that frequently intersperses Tagalog with the English. Why, I don't know. The Philippine Star is my favorite paper, all in English for us Westerners. :smile:

I played on Daryl Nordquist's team in a local bar league when he asked me to sub. I went 2-2 and was in pain on most every shot. I told Daryl I couldn't do it again.
