Eight Point Segmented Custom Jacoby F/S (For Steal)!!!

Hi all,

I have a sweet playing (and looking) custom made Jacoby that was built by Dave in 2007.

The cue is made out of black ebony and figured BEM. The cue is 58" long and weighs 18.4 oz. with one shaft and 18.7 with the other. Both tips are just over 13mm with synthetic ferrules. The cue is in excellent condition and I didn't notice any noteworthy dings or marks. I'm sure if you looked close enough, you would find a player mark or small ding, but you'd have to look for one.

There are four long, veneered points (black, green, blue, and natural) and four short solid ebony points in between. The rings are inlayed with ivory dots and green stone diamonds (don't know what kind of stones...they don't look like malachite) that line up with the other ring inlays quite nicely.

The pin is 3/8-10 and the joint is wood. The cue hits very nicely and has great feedback to the hands. Cue back on the market (see pg. 2)!!! Thanks for looking!

Steve

nice looking cue at a great price....shouldnt last long....mickey

Thanks for the bump, Marc! The owner really wants to sell this rascal, as he was just the victim of identity theft and needs cash, so he told me to drop the price down one last time to No longer available... shipped in the US!

Don't snooze on this one, gang!

I will tell you this, that the cue you see here is even nicer in person. I have seen the cue and hit with it also, excellent cue and probably the best deal on here, where are you going to get this much cue for $500!!?!!

Thanks Lenny! Somebody is going to get an amazing deal on this cue. Two of the top players in Phoenix have owned it and both took great care and kept it in great shape. The first guy traded it to me as part of an upgrade and the current owner is being forced to sell it because of financial problems caused by the theft of his ID. The cue is a sound player and a lot of cue for the money. I hope an AZBr ends up with it!

This is a beauty! Also, I think the green inlays might be peridot.

Thanks for your post! They didn't look like malachite to me, and they are different looking than any green turquoise I've ever seen. Peridot would make sense!

I just got the cue from my friend and wanted to correct the overall length. It's actually a standard 58" cue, not 59" as he had thought. Thanks for the heads up, Mike!

Just wanted to let you all know that this cue is for sale by the guy I sold it to in this post. The gentleman that currently owns it was recently a victim of ID theft and really needs to come up with some living expenses until they get the situation figured out. He is asking $450 OBO for it. If anyone is interested, I'll put you in touch with him. This cue was $1,000+ from Jacoby and combines playability with drop dead good looks!

Still have it?

Hello,
I'm interested in this cue if it is still available. I know he said $450 OBO, I could probably scrape $400 together if he is willing to do that. Let me know. Also, would I be able to get a pic of the signature?
Thanks,
-Rob
