I just drop the text into google translator & works fine. I guess I could create my own pages by copying the pictures & pasting the text to it...

For instance, for issue 11: I copied each paragraph in order. (I've been wanting to learn this for a while. :grin-square: )

Avoiding the "shock" played in "double back"

This move will give us many advantages when you think about playing 2 band (long - short) since it is a very measured and only f?cl
must memorize the numbering in the bands, certainly easy enough:
As shown in Figure no. 1 The band numbering in short is: 1, 2, 2 5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5.

The numbering in each band is similar long as shown in the figure no. 2 Only in the band of attack is measured in tenths to
facilitating the result.
Banda output, each diamond ?: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Gang attack, each diamond ?: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80.

The operation that we must do is: Point of arrival x = point of departure point of attack
We must take into consideration things 2, the first is that the Punda arrival should be measured exactly on the cutting edge of the band as
We did not figure. 3
The second is that the output as well as the point of attack will be pointing through the band as shown in Figure no. 4

Below are two examples of this productive move: no Fig. 5, fig. no. 6

Issue 10:

Projection pair "Tikki" long

By Roberto Rojas
This way of measuring the long-Tikki will be of great importance in resolving this game and so many others like us allow our imaginations.
How to measure it is very simple:

1 .- To determine the point of arrival at the edge of the band as
shown in Figure 1

2 .- In the contrary banda long determine the point at the opposite edge
of the band as shown in Figure 2.

3 .- This will help us draw a line from the point of exit for
the center of the table, and a viewing spot outside at a distance
Approx. a table away. Figure 3

4 .- Then the ball slingshot should point to the spot outside
the table and we beat modulate the force so
we achieve our goal.

5 .- All will blows up as invalid and displays the picture on the right side of this
page.

6 .- It is important to note that for this system to work the ball must be slingshot
always within the limits that mark the red line and that this will be determined by the position
from the point of arrival in the band long.

7 .- This coup should be practiced to achieve the force necessary to qualify depending
of the proximity or remoteness of the ball slingshot with the band short.

I advise practicing with perseverance this draft as the draw of many problems and give them an invaluable solution that you can see in every game.

The short version of both Rojas system articles:

(1) Find something close to the ideal reflection banking point (angle in = angle out). In one article he visually approximates it, and another he uses inexact decimal numbers to get close.

(2) Find a "stroke" to make it work. (i.e. Use follow with no sidespin and try to find a speed where the angle lengthening from high ball curving mostly cancels the angle shortening from friction.)

Most systems don't even acknowledge that balls take curving paths after cushion contacts, much less tell you how to allow for it for different incidence angles or on different equipment. It's much easier to say it requires lots of practice and a magic stroke.

This is absolutely the best Sports Magazine I have ever viewed. Expertly done by Roberto Rojas, whom is the President of the Magazine.

Crisps pictures, nicely done articles, excellent ads. Again, just perfect!

Billiardshot's Avatar

Nice avatar, billiardshot. I know that movie so well I know what Fast Eddie is saying at that moment: "Man, he is great!"

Or is it, "Look at the way he moves, like a dancer."

Rich93 my avatar-is for Jamison Neu, after he punished my table up with his Mass Masse Shotzzzz. I'm saying: #%&@*!! NEU!!!! But Thank for your comments.

juegabillar I agree the diagrams, photos and article are some of the best I've seen in any magazine. Rojas! Thanks for a fine Magazine and articles!!!

Thank you for the link. I've only looked at the first two Rojas articles, and I have a serious objection. The diagrams show lines that actually contact balls and cushions. Such diagrams are not correct and can be very misleading. The lines should be the path followed by the base of the ball.
