I have been receiving emails from Mr. Herman. I am posting these from now on so all can see what is going on:

Received today (5/13/11): Filed a civil complaint on Jerry Forsyth for PPublicty full of lies and knowingly postings on azb continue to leave threating posts of lie after lie is the AZB behind the scenes scum of the earth IVE ADVISED THEM TO GET A PICTURE OF HOWERTONS MOUTH THEN FOLLOW UP THESE POSTS OF YOUR SELECTED LOWLIFE USERS ON AZB NO PROPLAYERS OR COMPANIES BUT SELECTED SCUM BY JERRY AND METH MOUTH MIKE PLZ INVESTIGATE JERRY CLOSELY THE GUYS A REAL DIRTBAG LYING LOWLIFE WHO NEEDS TO BE LONG GONE PLZ RESEARCH THE SITES POSTS ON MARTY HERMAN ASAP BEFORE THE POLICE HAVE THEM DELETE AS THIS HAS CREATED NOTHING BUT THREATS THREAT THREAT WITH LIE LIE LIE AND JERRY IS IN FULL AWARENESS OF THE POSTS AND HAS APPROVED THEM AS TRUTH HOW DARE THESE GUYS ALOWED INTO POOL BOTH NEED TO BE IN JAIL GET THEM OFF YOUR SITE NOW !WPA PUBLICTY RU GUYS KIDDING READ THE POSTS OF THREATING LIES BY THE SCUMBAGS JERRY AND MIKE THESE GUYS R DIRTBAGS COME ON IAN U KNOW THIS AINT RIGHT IVE PLAYED ON THE WPA EVENT I KNOW YOU DONT GO FOR THIS LOWLIFES ACTION UNLESS U WANT TO GERT SUIT GET RID OF AZB SITE AS LINK AND RELLEASE THAT VENOM LOWLIFE FORSYTH

Jerry I understand your frustration but is this the best way to go about this?

Your forum has clear rules about defamation, name calling, instigation, harassment etc...

Those rules are broken constantly and enforced sporadically.

But is it in the best use of the forum and in the community's interest to encourage such "reporting" of emails like this?

The reason I ask is because of the extreme potential for fraud. Basically when someone posts an alleged private email there is NO WAY that the readers can know how much truth is contained in there. No way to know if the content is a verbatim quote, no way to know if it's been edited, no way to know the whole conversation, and really no way to know if the person accused of sending it is really the person who sent it.

So do you think that condoning and perpetuating this sort of activity is really the way to go? Personally I think it opens the door for a lot of one-sided mudslinging.

We have a review section. In that section Marty Hermann can be reviewed as a dealer/trader and everyone who had a negative experience can share. But that still is only one-sided if the accused can't speak up for themselves.

It's my opinion however that allowing these types of attacks to happen in the main forum really detracts from the forum as a whole.

If everyone would just ignore him then he would go away. By posting this type of stuff you are only feeding him and allowing him to still "post" on AZ with you and everyone else playing the role of secretary. In my opinion that is.

You know that I am very outspoken. And I also don't say anything in private that I am afraid to speak about in public. But I think it's very clear to you that if someone tried to conduct what they thought was going to be a smear campaign against me by publishing any private communications then they would definitely have a fight on their hands.

I don't agree with Marty's methods and I think he needs help. I have told him that in private.

My question to you is if you knew someone was sick would you think it's ok to continue to provoke them?

How about if I make a trip over to Jimbo's forum and lift a couple dozen anti-AZ rants and make a bunch of new threads warning people not to go there?

Anyway, that's my take on this. I don't think that the result you hope to achieve will be realized here.

Holy FFS Wtf is wrong with you guys. Can't a freaking forum come up without people trying to personally attack someone. Are we mature at all, I think not. I wouldn't post here but I am getting sick and tired of every freaking thread I go into turns into some bout between people who just don't get along.

At least J.B. was on topic with the thread and simply putting in his personal opinion on things, then here comes someone who "just doesn't like him" to input something totally unrelated to the topic with the ONLY reason being to instigate something.

Grow up people.

As for Mr. Forsyth, We know this guy is off his rocks. If he actually filed a report like that, it will get laughed off by the department. He probably filed the report exactly as it is written in the email.

And for the record for all of you out there who are wondering, for a Defamation of character case IT MUST BE PROVEN THAT THE STATEMENTS MADE ARE FALSE. If the statements bear truth, then it is not defamation, libel, slander, or any other fancy legal word you want to throw at it. Free speech allows us to make statements in any public or private setting so long as the statements are not made falsely that detract or villify another person.

I got a note from him today proudly proclaiming how he was going to shut down the site with the help of our host nameking.com.

nameking.com is a registrar. Not a hosting company. And AzB is not registered with nameking anyways. As a matter of fact, I don't have any domains registered with nameking.

Its obvious that Mr Herman is mentally ill. Thats not funny or anything to joke about. These threads should be deleted since its only setting him off. Out of sight-out of mind.....AZ-delete all threads involving Mr Herman-he is clearly dangerous to others and himself.

Hint: It's called sarcasm. I don't HAVE any "incriminating" communications from any Joe Jackoff (made up username) but I am sure I could fabricate some with a few minutes of cut and paste to stir the pot and instigate more drama.

God knows we love the drama.

After all the burden of proof on the internets is on the accused not on the accuser.

If I ever make it out to Burning Man I have already decided on the float I will build. It will be the world's biggest bandwagon and everyone is invited to jump on it.

It seems mr. Hermann's is mad at everyone. We have also received threatening emails.

I am glad Jerry posted his situation- because it adds more facts to the dangerous position of marty's thought process.

I have known him ( not very well) for 15 years or so. But i think he has gone over the edge.
