emerald tip review?

anyone have any input on them? what about wizard tips?

i've tried 2 wizards and they hit real nice at first. they seem to have a medium hard crisp hit to them but after they're broken in they seem to play like a medium soft squishy tip.

what does everyone here think?
 
I used an Emerald for a while, and I liked it. It stayed consistent throughout the time I used it, and had a medium firm hit.

I have since changed that shaft over to a Moori Quick, and it plays similar, but a little stiffer than the emerald in my opinion.

All in all, I would use them again, as they are a good tip at a great price.

I use the emerals on both my ob and predator shafts and love them.I think they play very close to the original moori med-hards.I just bought 24 emeralds this week.
 
I think for the money its the best tip I've ever used. I've got one on both my shafts. Takes and holds chalk well. I tip pick them before I play and thats all it takes. I tried a wizard and I initially liked it but it got hard on the edge rather quickly and I miscued alot. I think its still a great tip but it takes more mntc. than the emerald. Please don't take that opinion as gospel. I probably didn't give it a fair chance after I found the emeralds. Don
 
They're great!

Been using them for a while now and each one has played the same, and held up great. I would pay more for these they are that good.

You guys got my interest - where can /i get the emeralds? do they come in soft medium hard? thanks in advance for any info

PM benfica. BTW,Emerald tips are by far the best playing tip for the money. They are under $4 apiece.
