Sweet cue. Personally, I wouldn't change the wrap. It wouldn't
look bad with the new wrap, but looks great just the way it is.
Congrats

I don't like it, leave it like it is
Since it used to be my cue I should have a real vote in this one

Put that beautiful piece of elephant on it. That would really class it up and I only have elephant on my cues.... So easy to play with. :) IMHO

My personal favorite EM I've seen to date. Any idea what year this baby was built?

Congrats,

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I don't know when it was made, I have had it for a little over 2 years, before me cuesblues had it for about 2 years and before that it was in a collection.

As a side note, I am really leaning towards having the elephant wrap put on but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I would put black linen on the cue.

Here is why;

1.) The cue is very busy on top and bottom, and IMO, THAT should be focus of the cue.
2.) I have seen many cues that have a lot of inlays and then put a "busy" wrap on it, and it makes it look "over the top" or "gawdy" .
3.) I think if the cue was plain jane, or simple 4 point with no inlays, I could see adding the wrap.
4.) Nice cue either way, JMO.

Ken

PS Looking at the music cue on your signature line, shows exactly what I am talking about. The plainer looking wrap, doesn't draw your attention away from the music inlays. A "busy" wrap on that cue would be a mistake too, IMO.

It was made around 1998
Leave the black leather on the cue, forget the elephant ear

I just posted this up in the WFS section for anyone that may be interested. Thank you.
