Any pool on TV is better than no pool at all. That said, imagine if the only basketball you could watch on TV is the Harlem Globetrotters. Trick Shots on TV always depresses me.

2 weeks in a row. Is it a trend? A test? Or just down time after NBA/NHL playoffs?

Amazing really that boring excuse for pool is almost all that gets TV coverage in the sport.

Even my wife , who does not play pool at all looks over at me and says...."Really?"

Was it the good, Mike Massey, style or the "he's going to hold 5 jump cues at once" style?

I don't know about anyone else but I think the 2 and 3 cue stuff is not too impressive.

I think the ones that are the best are the ones that actually show real pool skills.

Not that it doesn't take skill to shoot with 2 or 3 cues but.............

I can see where this takes many of the pioneers of trick shots out of the mix.

I want Mike Masse. Tom Rossman etc

I guess if you can't shoot with 2 or 3 cues your out of the mix.

Who knows though. This kind of stuff might be more impressive for people that don't play pool and just watch. it's all about the ratings.

Might even be better.

Where's Mike tom and the others......retired???????????????

Agreed.

I really hate to hear Jimmy Mataya speal, but he does say one thing that I agree with.

What a joke this crap is, and speed pool, and all of the other crap.

Give me Bartrum, Frost, Alex, Efren or one of the other guys gambling or playing "real" pool and Im "ALL IN".

Chris.
I would have tuned in if you were on it, but I know thats not your "Thang"...lol

Dopc.
