Why So Much Pool Coverage On T.v..what Is Going On? I Am Not Complaining, just Blown Away By All The Coverage..
What A Great Way To Start The New Year...

It's National Pool Day as far as I'm concerned! :p

Most of us, I think, would like to see pool have a bigger presence on TV.

I wonder what percentage we make up of the general TV-viewing audience.

Here is a link from the ESPN website where you can voice your opinion about bringing in more of this type of programming. If you do like the pool seen on ESPN today, send them an e-mail stating so. It doesn't cost a penny, and it may bring more pool on TV in the long run.

Now I wonder what percentage of the readers of this thread will take the time to do so, whether having more pool on TV is even worth the effort!

Thanks JAM!! I had no idea that site was available. I just went there, saved it on my favorites page and then left an email for them informing them that they'll have my attention ALL afternoon and informing them that this represents a huge change in my viewing habits as I never watch ESPN unless pool is being presented. Which is, by the way, the truth.

By the way JAM. I've been reading your posts for the last couple months, since I became more of a regular here, and I really like what you have to say. IMO, you have your "stuff" together. I like you and have learned to respect your opinions because you've exhibited intelligence, reasonableness, open-mindedness, love for the game, a positive attitude and, most important of all human traits, the willingness to go out of your way to be a helpful person.

I just sent mine in too. I think this is a step in the right direction if we can get everyone on this forum to speak their mind to E.S.P.N. Good job JAM! Peace, John.

I just sent my note in too Jam. Thanks a bunch! Maybe we'll get their attention, I hope!!

Has anyone been viewing the Billiard's on Empire Network, Billiard Club TV, Sunshine Network and Altitude? They have been showing pool above the norm too. I can't believe they showed the DCC 10 ball ring game with Danny D and Jimmy Mataya. That was great, those two are freggin hillarious.

F.Y.I.: Pool is being shown on ESPN a total of 20 days this month! That's 2 out of every 3 days! In the words of the immortal Montgomery Burns..."Excellent"!

Scott Lee ~ will be taping all 6 hrs. today on ESPN :D

I appreciate and admire each of you that has sent an E-mail to ESPN to express your approval of the increased pool telecasts. Still, it would be better to send an E-mail to a friend suggesting they watch a pool telecast. In the end, ESPN cares about ratings.
