everest tips?

I've always liked mine, especially after I worked it down a little bit. It's in it's "prime" mode right now and it's great. But I have to say I haven't had a lot of experience with layered tips. Great step up from le pros/triangles, etc.

The g-core and ob2 have them standard and ive never had to reshape it and stuff!
i only tip pik it and its even also unnecessary i only do it because im not playing pool and bored at home LOL!
Ive only tried a few tips though (everest, elkmaster, lepro, triangle) So maybe my opinion isnt so trusted LOL

Anyone wanna send me some kamui black soft/super soft samples for FREE =D?!?!?!
Just joking peeps!

i like mine that came on my OB2, and i have played with other layered tips and this one seems to hold it shape well without much maintainance and has way more spin in it than i can use effectively.

Everests are my favorite tips. I've had one on my cue for about a year now and I have never had to do any kind of maintenance on it.

I like em. They have a nice hit to them, hold chalk well and keep their shape. I currently use Sniper tips, but the Everest is my close second choice.

There is good reason why they are standard on many of the shafts that are on the market today, great quality and incomparable consistency.

In my opinion having tried a lot of cues and a lot of different tips I think they're one of, or maybe the best tip out there. They've gone up a little in price of late but still a good value. They "grab" the cue ball nicely.

LOVE mine. Their tagline is that it shapes like a hard tip, hits like a medium tip, and controls like a soft tip. After two years of playing with one, I have a tough time arguing with that.

Hussa,

when i started to play again in october last year (after 10 years) i bought my new cue- and i have to say that i really a material-junkie as long as i can remember^^! I made hundreds of new tips for friends/customers and really was interested what i saw then in october. These laminated tips were new to me- on my cue was a non-laminated WB tip. It played well......but i like reading comments...but even more i love to test myself. I tested then some tips- Moori M, Kamui Black H, WB, Triangle (to see agani the big differences) and the Tiger Everest-
The Tiger Everest is a very good Tip in my opinion- doesnt mushroom and the grip is excellent- It is a nice medium tip- but not too soft. I used to like hard tips-but the Everest is great! I can recommend this tip to everyone.
No i m playin a Wizzard M-and especially for me this is the tip i was lookin for. A tick harder than the Everest- and a super grip for chalk. Til now (after one week with 6-8 hours a day of playin) no mushroom-action.

Back to topic: Tiger Everest you could install on any cue- always an advice worth :-)

I love Everest tips and have since long before I started shooting with my OB2, which conveniently came with one:grin:

The are very consistent and hold shape and chalk extremely well without much maintenance at all. I just pik it a bit once i a while.
