had the layout below, and executed to perfection the shot diagrammed. i really didnt see anyway to get to the 2-Ball, so i decided to go for broke. i hit the cue ball just a hair below center, medium speed, with inside (left) english.

when it spun off the rails, and rolled up to Point A for perfect position, it was just a thing of beauty! man, if Randy G. or Scott Lee could have seen that, they would have been impressed - maybe?

after i got the perfect position on the 2-Ball, the out was rather simple. stun the 2, for perfect position on the 4-Ball, and the rest was a walk in the park.

just thought i would diagram a good shot/roll/luck, whatever you want to call it, at least this one time. and remember the diagram might not be perfect, but it gives you the idea.

Great touch....that's a very tough type of shot for me to judge. I either hit a ball and get stuck way short or fly right past everything and end up way long. Knowing this, I would be forced to shoot it this way.

I would have drawn the cueball 5 rails, avoid the 7, then the 6 then the 8 but nudge the 9-ball , then pocket the 2 and the 4 in the same corner. :)
 
Is that not a standard shot?? I dont remember that being difficult.. It's just like hitting bottom right to get shape on the 4 by hitting the rail and it pushing itself down. This shot is the same except you put bottom left and put a little more 'sha-baz' on the ball and let the english spin you around to the other side.

Good shot though if you have a problem with inside english. Even if you put too much spin on it and go too far you still have a very easy safe so gj selecting the right shot.
