Experiments in looking at the cueball while delivering the stroke.

Well ooops! DID Selby hit more than 1 shot? Yikes but still what a display John Higgins put on. There can be no doubt where his eyes were.
Hope he's not Faking it. 🤷‍♂️

Watching this video to try and get a read on Neal Robertson's eyes. Got a good read on Stewart Bingham first. 🤷‍♂️ His eyes were down until the white was struck on the one good reading.

The Snooker World Championship is providing incredible coverage through uh? Well I found the link here.
High definition looks and World class comments.
I sprung for a month and have already got my monies worth.

Mark Allen just produced a 147 in the World Snooker Championship. The video coverage leaves no doubt that he's looking at the white when it's struck.
I just watched it live and would expect the 147 will soon be on youtube.

The video coverage is such a bargain. At this time I can watch one table on the TV and the other on my phone. I'm in heaven....well at least reminiscent of the Reno Sands 9 ball in the 80s, with 10 tables and a sweat bet on each.
Gotta get back to the action. Oh yeah the comments are lessons in themselves. 👍

Well I finally got to a conclusion watching the Mark Williams vs Hossein Vafaei. Mark is obviously cueball at impact. Vafaei has his eyes up prior to contact.
The cueball fine control should fall to Mark and power to Vafaei. Just my prediction. 😉

At 7‐6 Mark shot the blue with closed eyes. Well it was exhibition and he made it with perfect shape on the pink. 🤷‍♂️ 8-6 The precision Mark produces is incredible. Vafaei is not quite as precision with the final resting for whitey.

Wow the high definition camera work is putting the eye patterns on display. The Snooker World's are definitely a Must Watch. 🤷‍♂️
Oh John Higgins! Go!

I like the better production values, better commentary, and perhaps higher skill levels in snooker. When I watch video it is usually old stuff or snooker. I like watching John Higgins for his sense of humor. A great talent too of course.

Hu

Watching the Snooker World is so edumacational.
The timing, the rhythm. The pause.
Oh another century vy Shaun.
He can play worry free at this point. Still possible if not probable. Give him another opening and we shall see. 🤷‍♂️ what fun.

"Ben couldn't get control of his cueball."
Comment Sure fits my reason for whitey at impact.

I don't look at the cue ball. Ever. If you do, you run the risk of turning into a pillar of salt like Lot's wife. Why take that chance?
That's a good point. I have always followed the credo, "if your not living on the edge you are taking up too much room." Not sure who to credit. 😉

My observation of the World Snooker Championship has provided some good looks at eye patterns along with techniques and rhythm. The comments make for a complete lesson. Er uh Entertainment as well.
My opinion that cueball at impact yields the most precise cueball seems to be validated by the play. The class of 92 tomorrow should put it on display.
