THESE CUES AARE BUILT FOR POOL, NOT RUSSIAN PYRAMID POOL

These cues are much more Beautiful than the pictures show . Balance seams perfect . Points are out of this world , so very even . Great craftsmaship . When I get prices from Dmitry , I will post . J/ps by Dmitry with both cues . Both cues have Radial pins .

1. 4 points Double Recut, Full splice. 12 points on the sleeve. Java Rosewood, Hornbeam, Black hornbeam, Lacewood - 505 grams (17.9oz) also be added to 18.5-19.5, One hornbeam shaft.

2. Two-way full butterflys cue. 2x6 = 12 full butterflies. Hornbeam, black hornbeam. Ostrich leather handle . 545 grams (19.25oz) can be added. One hornbeam shaft.

I was once told by a cue maker that re-cut full splice points were not possible. :eek: :grin:

PS what is hornbeam? Is that russian for maple?

It is a tree common to Central and Eastern Europe. It is in the Beech family. It is noted for very hard wood, that is commonly used for tool handles.

What it's playing attributes are like is unknown to me.
 
I just came back from our local Cue Maker swap meet , where I showed off some of my new cues and the cues from Russia . I let a close freind , that had never seen any of Dmitrys cues , shoot a few balls with the Butterfly cue with the Hornbeam shaft , He is a Master player , he said I want it , let me find some money . Cue is not sold , till its paid for , and right now I'm not even sure of the price . I told Owen price would be close to $900.

I was told Hornbeam a relative to Spruce . The Hornbeam shafts are stiffer than a maple shaft . These shafts both have the points in the shafts , you have to look closely .
