Eye patterns

I just had a lesson with Scott last week and he does teach two different eye patterns and yes it makes a huge difference.

I found this video on Youtube. Very good advice on aiming.

Thanks for the link. I have seen this before at Randy G's pool school as it is one of his Mother Drills. Having a personal eye pattern is a crucial element in your pre-shot routine. It's also important to keep the same number of warmup strokes on every shot. When you train your eyes to view the contact point while standing behind the shot, it gives your brain a lot of visual information. From there, the old noodle does it thing and all you have to do is just let it.

Dave...Whoever that is, it is definitely NOT me. Tell you one thing...Samm did a fine job explaining an eye pattern. There are several different eye patterns. The key is finding THE one that best suits you...and then you build it into your process.
