And YOU didn't get ANY compensation for ANY of your pregnancy? Bullsh$T! Who paid the DR and hospital bills or did you just drop in the field?

S/P
I had my own insurance. I was the manager for a camera store in Worcester.

I posted this one up on CCB a while ago. This picture is of me which according to my Mom was right around the time I picked up a pool cue:

Not too many of me because I tend to break cameras but here is another of the kiddies. Besides, they're a lot cuter than me :D

You can see why Koop's children are so cute. They come from good stock. :)

You clearly stated 22/23 yr old girls are all lined up to get married and what not. Sorry, I am pretty sure I am more in a position to know than you.

Just because they refuse advances from you or your friends doesn't mean they don't want to get married.

Only a stupid girl will admit her inner longing for a secure man to fall under her hypnotic spell. Women are smart enough to know that this type of sentimentality is not as powerful an influence on a man as her playing hard to get is.

Most men are not nearly so smart, and fall easily into sentimentality. Wondering always why the hot girls are going for the assholes while such nice guys like themselves are being pushed away.

I believe the great majority of women at age 22-23 would marry very quickly if the trapped a man they considered worthy that was keen enough. But most don't find this and are holding out for a better option, growing impatient and embittered by the day.

Great job Mawissa!!! I'm proud of you....you're completely back into character again!!

I just read this again...I missed it the first time around. So what you're saying is, if the father changed his mind 5 months into the pregnancy, what really happened is that you got knocked up...he backed out...and you put the baby up for adoption. Something that millions of women do every year...It was a mistake, not a surrogate mother deal from the start.
I never said I was a surrogate. I know there are countless adoptions each year, but there are still more abortions and girls and women who keep their babies though they can't afford to, are on drugs, et cetera and don't realise there are other options. A lot of these kids end up in foster homes or being raised in the welfare system, which leads to higher chances of them become delinquents, drop-outs, drug users, prostitutes, or in jail.

If someone I'm seeing reveals himself to be an asshole, I break it off. I may be a nice girl, but I don't let myself get run over.

ROTFLMAO... Mother Theresa speaks and said that she wasn't a surrogate mother...wtf, you sure as hell gave the impression the entire time from your very first response that you were a surrogate mother. Based how I was responding, you damn well could have stopped me in mid-track and said otherwise, because that's how you were coming off. I guarantee you that EVERYONE else on here was reading it the same way.

Once again Marissa...contradictions, contradictions, contradictions. You're so full of f*#king shit it's unbelievable! You write this entire story up of how you did something wonderful for this loving couple that couldn't have children to make yourself into a loving, holier than thou, do-gooder that did this from the bottom of her heart...when in fact you just put an unwanted child up for adoption. Sure, I know that's tough...but it's a way of life and IS better than bringing it up as a single parent when YOU weren't capable of doing it in more ways than one.

Usually on adoptions, the adoption agencies don't EVER want the original parent(s) of the child to know who the family is that adopted the child due to possible backlash or misgivings in later years. I guess you dealt direct.

You are a trip girl...an absolute trip. Please don't call me again.

Here is a picture of Drivermaker:

Drivermaker looks just like that guy on the TV commercial for Progressive Insurance, who has also previously starred in quite a few sitcoms and hosted some TV award shows. He's got a very distinct accent and thick white hair.

Colin, where are you? Post up the pic of the Drivermaker lookalike! I can't remember the guy's name, though! :p

I hate to interrupt the arguments about adoption and all, but here is a pic of me and my sister the day she got home from Iraq. If Hal thinks he could pass for Hank Hill, I could possibly pass for his cartoon son Bobby. (Bobby is coincidentaly my real name).

Phew....thanks a lot JAM and I'm glad you didn't get your insurance companies mixed up and say I looked like the gecko on GEICO.

Hopefully this puts an end to the "old broken down man" shit. With my energy levels, strength, and activities, I'll run every young prick on here into the ground.
But then again, Jack LaLane at 90 will run ALL of us into the ground, not to forget Hugh Hefner once again. (my idol!)

I didn't realise you had assumed I was a surrogate mother until the conversation progressed. And Marie was never unwanted by me. I also opted for an open adoption (agencies do give you a choice) so I could watch her grow up. I never imagined that Debbie and Joe would include me in her life so much, and I love it. They take her to high schools and talk about adoption versus abortion to open people's minds and I try to do the same thing. I'm sorry if you feel mislead. I thought we were getting along well until today.
