Fanelli Wrapless Butterfly Cue

Alton,

Great to hear from you! I keep an eye on all the great cue cap sets you are making. They are stunning to behold!

Take care,

Will

BHQ,

Thanks for the comments. I will try to get a group picture and some closer pictures of this cue when I get some time.

Thanks!

That is truly a unique and intricate piece of work! Congrats on another beauty Will!

Jamie,

Thanks for the nice comments.

I am very sorry not to be able to make it to your upcoming show. Unless I can rearrange some commitments I will not be able to make it. It sounds like it will be a great one!

My brother and Mother live in Ohio, and it would work out well for us if I can alter our calendar. If not, I wish you all the very best at the event! Take some great pictures, and raise some elbows!!!

Take care,

Will

TommyT,

Thanks! You are right about his ringwork. It is super when holding the cue. With regard to radar, Paul is quite on the radar these days, widely recognized for his butterfly world class work.

Take care,

Will

Thanks....

Oh my god!!! That cue is just too much for words! I love the rings! I love the pointwork. I love the butterflies.

I love the fact that I have to stare at it for about 20 minutes and I STILL have no idea what is the base of a point or a butterfly or.... its just plain mindblowing!!!!

I love Paul's cues and the fact that everythign he puts out is unique. Just when people think 'everything's been done already', well... along comes Paul Fanelli proving all those people wrong.

Gorgeous cue! Congratulations on a true gem. And thanks for sharing.

....Thanks for the very nice comments. They are appreciated!

Will,

Would love to have you at the show, but I understand how the calendar works. I wish I could make it to the ICCS too. I had a great time last year in KC.

Please let me know if things change for you and you can make it to Ohio.

Wow, that is really cool looking. Kind of a detour from the classics you own, I cannot wait to see this one in person, now I have a reason to come back home from Denver.

Thanks for sharing Will.

After seeing these two cues,I am ordering one.I like both of the cues and can't decide on what to order. Paul sent me some pictures of blanks but I was so dumbfounded I couldn't even reply.
My thinking was something like what are those swirls and doodads,I like Wills geometric kinda look with those wavy lines and such,I finally asked if he could make me one and I didn't have to put any request or input into .Something like those guys, but different in a better kinda way somehow,if you know what I mean, duh.

Thanks to both of you guys for posting your pics and putting me in touch with Paul Fanelli. He is a very pleasant person to deal with.

I might add that I asked Watchez how much the cues were because I was afraid they were so intricate that the cost would be prohibitive and I didn't want to inquire about a cue that I was too cheap to buy. I found out that these masterpieces are very reasonable.

I refer you to Will's opening post for an example of how to write a nice post, acknowledging his friendship and recomending the work to us with praise.

thanks for the thread, its a nice one

Great Cue

Mr. Prout you got yourself another beauty. I have had the privilege of dealing with Mr. Fanelli on multiple occasions and see him from time to time at the pool rooms in the area. His approach and accommodation to his customer is superior to the beauty of his cues and that speaks volumes for his character. He is pushing the Butterfly style to a level of incomprehension. The veneers/wood combinations are clean and accurate. I find it simply amazing that he is able to this.

Congrats on a great cue. Oh and his cues play great - I have a simple four pointer that is superb.

Dean,

thats what I was thinking these cues are complicated as chinese math. I'm going to order one this year or next year for sure,

I saw youtube video with theseguys llayinbg russian pyrmids-the gamw with the huge balls, there was a little part on the end talking about butterfly butt cues and how much stronger they are than a regular cue-it was well explained and made sence to me. kinda like ply-wood is strong same principal. When I first saw Watchez got his i went looking for that video and I cant find it, I saw it 2 years ago, it didnt mention the cues until the end, i wish i put a link up here when i saw it. sorry guys, it was good information.

congrats
