Farewell AZ Billiards-My Final Thread Here

This Should Make Walt Feel Better

Forget all the dollars. You made me recall Frank Paradise. I wonder what his real name was. I can remember him pulling up at Johnston City in his sharp finned Mercedes. He was an elegant looking man, thin and very neat. He took great pride in his appearance and his cues. He spoke with a clear articulate voice. He was an educated man. I did not feel worthy to speak with him. I was a dumb kid who only wished he had a Paradise cue.

I can see him clearly now in my minds eye. He stood out by being dapper and immaculate. Clearly not another pool hustler. But a hustler of a different sort. A cue hustler, but a good one. Many top players took an interest in his wares. I wonder where all the Paradise cues are today. Gone I guess.

Just what in the hell does your post have to do with WALT ? Walt has been back lurking & reading a number of times since he signed off last night and you didn't even MENTION him. Get with program, will ya....

( for Walt's enjoyment........ WALT,WALT,WALT,WALT,WALT,WALT,WALT.... imo ) :) :) :)

Jay,

various factoids purloined from the Billiard En-cy-clo-pedia:

Frank's last name was Thomas.

He changed it for a 'short lived musical career in the thirties'.

He was driving a bus when he won a Rambow in a money match.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Thanks Dale. He looked like he would play the piano or violin.

You know, come to think of it, Frank Paradise reminds me a lot of ole Walt. They both liked pool, and were hustlers of sorts. They lived during the same century and in the same country. And I think Walt had a Mercedes once too. And Walt likes crawdads and Frank liked shrimp. See, they are almost brothers.

I am taking a voluntary hiatus from AZ Billiards.Whether it's permanent or not I've yet to decide.I am certain however, that I have worn out my welcome here and I stick out like a sore thumb on this board of conservatives. My opinions on many topics are viewed as racist because of the controversial nature of my views on issues.coupled with the fact that I just flat out don't see things the same way that most of you do.

In the beginning,I admittedly tried to make my presence felt on this forum. As a pool player,I felt at home here, and guy's like Joey A.welcomed me with open arms.I would come up with an idea, post it,and for the most part get a favorable response.I always tried to keep it light and entertaining.I think things began to change for me about 2 months ago.I got into an arguement with Shooting Arts(ABOUT THE SAINTS,IMAGINE THAT)that got waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of hand.I completely lost my cool and called him some terrible, insulting things that he later post on the forum.Well, needless to say that was when the bottom fell out for Walt Frazier .I was under attack from every direction, the entire forum had turned and with good reason.I said some awful things to SA and in hindsight,if the shoe was on the other foot(if those words I used on him were used on me) I probably would be in jail right now for doing something to him. That is why I will say this,Shooting Arts I have the utmost respect for you as a man.You are trully a class act.You handled that way better than I would have.

Long story short,I created another screen name to help my cause. No luck.I did'nt cover my tracks that well.I got booted. So I was back to square one, minus the credibility with 90% of the forum. To top it all off,I am now considered a racist which is the farthest from the truth.I am a pool player.I have played/gambled with whites for years with not a mention of race ever even coming up.I will take the racist tag however because my stance on certain issues may be viewed as biased.I have always spoke my mind and will continue to do so.It is -what it is......

Jay Helfert: you are my favorite poster here.I always enjoy your insight and humor. If you are ever in La.look me up,I'll have a couple of pounds of crawfish with potatoes, sausage, corn, onion and all the Budweiser you can stand.

Freddy B.:you've got a little dirt on you(like me,LOL) I like that $hit.you're an old school rounder but you have a heart as big as the grand canyon.I love your stories.God bless you for all your support of Bugs!

Jam:any woman that can stick with Keith mccready for as long as you have must be a God sent, and i say that jokingly and with all due respect.I enjoy your posts as well.

Poolplayer:brother, you're on your own!I would give you advice, but you don't need it,my advice would'nt work because I'm too militant LMBAO!keep being yourself man you're a good guy.

9Ballgirl:con mucho gusto esta entrada seniorita isla bonita.

Joey A.:Tony Green's the name, 10-7 is the game.I'll be around man.we'll have a few beers and try to pull for the saints:p

Terry Ardeno:you are probably the nicest guy I know.if anyone messes with you, shoot me a pm and I will jump their a$$ for you buddy.

Huckster:tell Jack Hynes I want my damn hundred!

Corvette: probably the funniest guy on here.I enjoy your posts man you are something else.

Jude:from now on I respectfully call you"on topic" because you make it a habit to inform everyone that this is a pool forum

smorgassbored:wild, crazy,I think you are the only guy on here with more personalities than me.LMAO

Smokeandapancak:consumate co-signer.no objective.no purpose.what a guy

Manwon:Good guy overall but his "terms of endearment" are a little over the top .I'm sorry but the only man allowed to call me "son" is my father.

Ribdoder:Good as gold.I have never had words with him,he is a good man thru and thru.

Bval:I think Bval knew that I knew he'd post my pm to him(which led to my getting banned) I did'nt want to come out and say"post this pm" so instead,I did the next best thing and said"don't post this pm"LMAO.Bval is a good guy,I have nothing but respect for him .

LILJOHN:My avatar is the one and only Ester Baxter. I won't be using her for awhile so you are free to borrow. But I'm warning you, she's addictive.Seriously,if you don't know who Ester Baxter is,she is one of the hottest models in the world right now.I had the pleasure of seeing her in person on my last trip to vegas, she was in the lobby of my hotel signing autographs and man!let me tell you! If there is a sexier woman alive on Earth today she should be arrested. It should be against the law to be that fine!Ester is absolutely breath taking!Ugly name, but beautiful frame!

John Schmidt:I hope you shoot Daulton full of holes,he's tough!but then you already know that. All of us at Bayou are rooting for you man.

Well that's it AZ.God bless all of you,God bless Bugs Rucker....Until I see you again

Walt Frazier AKA Malcolm X of AZ Billiards has left the building!

Peace!

As "funniest" guy on here I feel obligated to respond to Walt's farewell speech. If I get some free time in between poker hands and multi-million dollar deals then I will make a photo shop in your honor Walt. If not, then take care and may all your jumpers hit nothing but net.

Consumate co signer....?

You ceased to hold any usefulness to me since you weaseled out of our very public bet.

I am not gonna get into this "best wishes" "aww you werent that bad a guy'" BS...

I hope to never see your name again.....
doubt it will go down like that...but I can dream right?

3 weeks......tops.......would offer even money on that to the world, but Walt's already made it clear he's not averse to the concept of dumping, so will have to make do with a make believe bet:p

Have fun Walt, look forward to your return in October:)
