FargoRate was sold?

They have both a FB page and a website. Looks totally legit. Probably made Mike 'an offer he couldn't refuse'. Their new room looks to be huge.
They probably are legit and I hope they succeed. Sounds like they're opening a nice room. The wording of everything was just off a bit like it was written by someone newly initiated into the pool world. Oh well.

I played in my 1st Fargorate tournament last Fri. evening and emailed FR today (actually Wed.) to see how long it would take before I get listed. (They responded quickly & after tonights 'run' I will finally have a rating & ID#. It will only have 22 matches so I've got a ways to go, BUT, the day I'm finally going to start getting an FR rating they sell the company!

Maybe I was the final straw and Mike said that's it, "I'm done". ;)
It was you.

For the data to be worth a fortune means it has to be easily monetized. It's not.

Colby Frontiero and Reed Merschat are the creators/owners of the Salotto App. Years ago we had some discussions about implementing a league I was part owner of into their app so we could get direct access to FR. Their business model did not line up with ours so it was a no-go but, I have nothing but good things to say about them. I'm not sure who the other two are, they could be investors in the new company or could've joined Salotto sometime in the last few years.

Like I said. Good luck.

A few years ago I attended the Energy Capital Classic a couple of years in a row in Gillette, WY, the turnout was excellent for the area and I have no doubt this place has some potential but, just like any other restaurant, they'll have to have good food and good service.
