One final point, I don't insult any one on this board that does not insult me first. We have this little inside club of about 15 bozos that keep this stuff going, they insult me, I insult them back. They get to talk trash and insult me, I am supposed to take it and when I respond back in kind, everyone goes bonkers like I broke some kind of rule of conduct. My rules of conduct are simple, be nice to me, I am nice to you. Get in my face, I am back in yours.
That is the way it is done in the pool hall boys, it's real simple there.

Do you call my recent trip around the world last December traveling 30,000 miles and showing my skills and shots world wide sitting on my ass?
Next month I take off to play on the world artistic tour and will do a tour of the entire Northeast for over a month teaching and showing and competiting. I fly out to do the BCA trade show in Vegas in April, will be in the challenge the stars event again at the BCA show in Vegas in May, this is sitting on my ass?
I have played in 70 countries and traveled over 3,000,000 miles, appeared in 1700 newspapers, that is sitting on my ass? Where do you people dream this BS up from, what ever your smoking on your end, please fedex me a pound of it quick, it has to be some good she yit.

I got a funny story that a friend told me that reminds me of Fast Larry and the slander he recieves. (i ay not have the terms right as i don't know anything about nuclear technology) The father of a friend of mine was a world renound nuclear engineer. The best resistor (not actually resistor, cant remember what he called it) on the planet was made by one company that had the patent on it. This company (we'll call them Charlie, as i cant remember thier name), trying to save cash, used scrap metal when they built these multi-million dollar transistor's. Companies would buy these 'Charlie' 'transistors' and rebuild them from the ground up because they could not build one as good as this without breaking patent laws. They were used in basicly every nuclear power plant. Anyways my friends father recieved a phone call one day from the head Man at a nuclear power plant somewhere in the states. He was phoneing about a problem with a resistor. My friends dad says 'Is it a 'Charlie' transistor you are using?' Of course, the guy tells him that it was. My friends dad, who is known as being one of the worlds best nuclear engineers says to him, 'I'm sorry to have to break the news to you but every one of those 'Charlie' transistors is eventually going to die, you need to replace ALL of them.' The guy doesnt listen and replaces the single transistor. 2 years later sure enough every single one dies and they have to close the plant for 6 months to replace it, costing 10 times as much money as if he had of taken the advice. Do you know what my friends father said? He said 'If I would have charged this guy $500 and written him a letter detailing what i had told him, he would have replaced everyone of those transistors when it should have been done. Because i did it for free, he didnt listen and cost himself millions, possibly billions of dollars.'
The moral of the story, if you charge someone for a service they put a value on it. If you try and help them for free they see it as worthless.
Glad to see Fast Larry stick around. I mean know offence when i say this Fast, but sometimes you take an innocent comment that was not meant to be offensive and take major offence (right or wrong). If you sit back and try and read into what someone says as not being an attack on you, more of a poor selection of words and explain yourself calmly without attacking your attackers, you might have an easier time on this board. Sometimes you are right, occasionally you are wrong, but if you instead try and explain yourself without calling names or stateing your GREAT accomplishments in lots of threads you might get a little more respect. Your accomplishments are great, but you haveing to recite them to prove a point can aggravate people and make them feel like you are talking down to them, whether this was your intent or not. I for one enjoy your posts when they are kept on subject. There is enough people on this board that come to your defence that you can just ignore these few people that are ruining it for you. I seriously hope you don't take anything i have said as insulting or offensive.

Fast has had trouble with certain people on various boards, but on numerous occasions he has tried to make ammends, but these people keep jumping on his throat. Stop badgering him, and he will respect you.
I value Fast's information that he posts,,he is an extremely busy man with his career, but has posted incredibly vast amounts of information about the game of pool when someone has asked him for it.
He is a professional, and I believe my game has improved from reading his posts.
Fast, just a quick note about Dragon, or Dragan... I forget which thread it was in, but he came on to say that he did not perform the jump as a 'shot', but just to show that it could be jumped from so close to object ball.. It was not his intention to post the clip, or to offend anyone..
BTW, keep strong, ignore these guys that insult you. You give so much to this board, your information is extremely valuable (to me at least)...and you can guarentee your DVDs will sell with me.

Yes, if they simply stop attacking me, I stop defending me. Once these attacks start, all teachings from me end and any productive thing I can produce is now shut off, but that is what this is really all about, driving me off and shutting my mouth up. Their method which has worked in the past is to attack me viciously, I will anger and respond in kind and then I get kicked off. The boards generally don’t track back to see who started the fight and who was responsible for it, they respond at the ugly end of the rumble. When that fails, they then try to cause unending continuous chaos and non stop turmoil so eventually the board gets fed up and gongs me and the problem it then solved. It rarely occurs to the board to gong the 9 bozo trouble makers. It is easier for the board to gong the attacked one than the 9 attackers. These people are very skilled at saying things that do not cross a line and get them tossed off. Their continuous attacks do wear a person down and they know that. Do this long enough and a saint will snap and become a mad dog.
They call me a fraud; I post my credentials which are so vast they can only come off as unbelievable. When I do post them, they attack me as bragging. It’s a trap I cannot escape from. I would love to become humble, if they would let me, but they won’t let me. I really no longer have time for this, it is like the dog chasing his tail in a circle, and it goes no where.
I really wanted to pull this off and to me it really looked like I had done it and everything had been finally resolved. People were finally going to give me some simple respect and let me work, teach and help people. My heart soured like the Eagle. I was really enjoying this. I looked forward to each day of answering questions. The jealous pukes apparently could not stand this. I lowered my guard and tried to show you who I was. Every time I did I was attacked. I said I only drink 2 scotches and 2 beers a night, I never get drunk, never even get a buzz on I drink so little and that is my only vice. The next day the post is I am a falling down drunk.
It is now most obvious to me there is this small group who are dedicated to never letting me have peace or success on this board. May I now say to you, you win, I leave; the price of beating you is too great. I now fully accept this fact my good bozos. You win the fight; you fought like cowards and slime balls from under rocks, but win you did do. I guess in your world that was very cool. You have your rules of combat, I have mine. You fight in a sewer; I fight in a dojo as a true warrior.
You figure you won, you beat me, I figure I choose no longer to fight in a sewer and move up to a higher ground. Perhaps we both won here and don’t really know that.

I teach in a 5 million dollar pool room as house pro. I am house pro in 6 rooms in Atlanta. 5 are very nice, very up scale. One is a bar box real pool hall bar. Real bubbas play there. People have been killed in this joint. Earl has had a gun pointed to his head in this joint when he pulled some she yit. I run in this world. I am comfortable in either environment. I am shown respect in either one. This thing is not about class or lack of class. I am a very poor kid who worked up to join a country club. I run in both circles today, it does not matter to me if I am with a red neck, a governor or a black, Asian or Indian. I do not care.
This thing is about people who have vested interests who do not want me telling you their cue stinks, their ball polishing machine is un necessary, their imitation cloth is crap. When I do that, they organize and bring down their entire dealer organization on me to trash me. That is what you are mostly seeing. Their worst nightmare is some guy actually singing like a canary telling it like it is. Their only defense is to convince you I am in need of a keeper and just got loose and do not worry I will be under restraints very soon as soon as they get me back on my mental medication. That is the bull S*** they want to sell you, if you are dumb enough to but into that con. They con you now, to protect their con that is how cons work.
My father said to me as a child, you cannot win an argument with an ignorant bozo. You people hate, you do not forgive, you are pain and sorrow to me, and I must get away from you. You do nothing but suck my energy dry. Everything around you is nothing but one negative after another one. You all remain in your back rooms, do your drugs, go no where, and gamble your selves into a homeless shelter. Excuse me; I have a higher calling than to waste me time on your sorry asses. Why did I even waste one minute fighting with you trailer court trash in the first place? I don’t give you one minute in a pool hall, why do I here?
Nobody can survive on this board who tries to be a real person and who tries to bare his soul and who he is. Look around, study who is really here. Most of the people make posts of 9 to 12 words. Guys like Wally in Cincy has 3000 post of doing just that, never saying a GD thing, never teaching a GD thing either. Any time any body tries to do something, every body tries to put the guy down. I see this board as simply mission impossible. I now tell every pro I meet to avoid it like the clap. You do not deserve pros on this board. This is a board of bozos now for bozos. Let the bozos now rule, long live the bozos.
I am nothing now but a shell of what I once was. The stroke and being crippled for 3 years I can never recover from. I am trying, my stroke and my strength is very slowly coming back. I have been searching for my old power stroke and after 11 months I discovered it tonight after a non stop 10 hour session. I discovered the key teaching a total beginner. He could not get the draw, I kept tossing this and that out at him, he could not draw the friggin ball 2 “. Then one thing I asked him to do, bingo, the ball exploded up table and he barely touched the cue ball. It all came back to me, the sky opened; a ray of light came flowing down: it was like a religious experience. That is the miracle of teaching, the teacher learns from the student. You learn so much by teaching which is why I took it up in the first place. I sure as hell did not take it up to make money. I make 20 times more an hour doing shows than I get for working my butt off in a lesson. On this board I teach for free, I never got a single show off this board and the little tapes I sold would not buy me a case of scotch. I worked my ass off just to be kicked in the nuts. Yes, I am very bitter about how this came out. It could have had a happy ending if the bozos would just have let this old she yet ride.
My stroke power just doubled and that is a very good sign. If my health holds up God willing, give me another year and I can be back. I am racked with very serious arthritis and playing for me is extremely painful. It is so serious I have been given a total medical disability and I do have a handicapped license plate. I am a handicapped person out on the world circuit now in my 7th decade of playing pool teeing it up with 20 year olds, am I giving these kids a spot or what.
I only continue because I love what I do and I love the game. My only wish is to die at the table finishing up a great trick shot show and making all 40 in a row on the first snap. Please God, grant me this wish, make it happen soon, tomorrow is fine with me, I am good to go. God only allows the good to die young.
