Flex said:If memory serves, he wrote somewhere that he was challenged on that score, and that the video isn't very clear about whether the ball did touch the rail, and so he did another one. That's the one I'm referring to. In that other video, from what I could see, the cue ball didn't touch a rail...
As for your offer, from what I can tell, he's no fool. He likely knows you'd own him.
IIRC from the video, it was the 2nd or 3rd shot. The cue ball rolls and "rests" along the rail which is the same as touching it. The other shot in question, the cue ball goes out of view and returns, obviously touching another rail

It's not that Larry knows I would own him or anything. I just think that Larry doesn't deal with pressure situations in pool very well, like tournament competition or being challenged one on one. It's much different to run a rack practicing by yourself under no pressure, and its completely different trying to run that same rack with another player staring you down, waiting for you to miss.
FWIW, Larry is not a bad guy once you get to know him. He rattles off at the mouth and stirs up controversy only to add to his legend. He loves all of the attention more than he loves the glory. In person he's a good guy who is very polite, which is quite surprising if you have only judged him by his online persona.
