I suspect Django will get in if he comes to DCC. After all he is the defending All Around champion. I would think Dennis will play also.

Yeah, Eric has it so far. We haven't seen him here so much, so he must be playin 10 ball. I think I'll take him in the calcutta.

I'd like to see eight players committed before we go to DCC. It will be played at night on Jan. 24-26.
 
I hope the tournament has a good turnout .............. I was there for the whole thing last year for the first time. But I've talked to a lot of people who won't spend the money it's going to cost this year! I'll be there for a few days just to play in the 3-Cushion tournament ..... which by the way they couldn't make room for it at the casino! I couldn't believe that!

But I'll probably come over to the casino and watch for a day or two. I can't afford the high-priced rooms myself! If I didn't have a place to stay with a friend ..... I couldn't afford to stay over 2 or 3 days myself!
 
So far I think this event will be a good one. The rooms are a little pricey but that could not be helped. There are roomsavailable in New Albany (8 miles away (I think) and many more in Louisville - about another 5 miles or so.

The 3-C was cancelled because of several reasons - the main one being the table costs jumped about $1,000 to $2,000 pertable. I think because of the dollar etc. Anyhow it priced it out of contention.

There should be a lot of action and everyone should look forward to it. The casino is looking forward to this - and they know pool players will be gambling on the pool tables. If people just don't get crazy - everything will be fine. There might be some rules about no money on the lights and that kind of stuff.

Stevie Moore and JA will most likely be in it, I'm not going to play in it, i like ring games, Just wish I had a shot last year. I might play in the bank ring game, maybe. i played so bad tonight i'm not sure y i play pool:angry: :frown:

i slept on the flight back from KC, that was a fun trip- i will go next year, he should do that 2 times a year, i liked working the booth for 10 minutes, its hard, i'm really wanting to get good at it in a professional sence, i'm not nervious- i just want to commentate where people enjoy what i say and make the game more interesting, not just BS about unrelated things, its hard for me, but a little practice and someday i might be better, I was in the booth when matlock got knocked out-thats the most important time i was ever doing commentary, JoeyA is a natural. I want to hear myself-it will be embarassing but gotta learn,
