Maybe Fatboy is just taking a break, enjoying life, working his next million dollar deal, or? As the Forum has change in the last few years. Fatboy like others might have found something else to read.
AZB use to be a Pool, Billiards, 3-C Forum the subjects were about Pool, Buying, Selling, Cues, Cases, Accessories, etc.
More people than Fatboy have disappeared, no longer post, or have just moved on. The list is long, but they were regulars who always had some interesting things to contribute.
Some of those people did die off, others still play Pool, go to the Derby, or SBE they just don't do AZB no more.
TODAY IMHO NPR seems to be the most popular place on the AZB Forum, and I wonder if for some reason NPR disappeared tomorrow, how much would daily traffic drop by on AZB? I am think conservatively 40-60% maybe. That would kill advertising on AZB, advertising revenues, don't because of the number of daily visitors dropping.

I resurrected my profile after about 11 years. I had a ton of shit happen in my life including moving cross country. I dusted off my cue case and hit a few local pool halls looking for some action. Pool halls are different. The people playing are different. I’m also rusty 
Life can get in the way of posting. I regularly post here but this is my first post in ten days. Similarly, I've had few posts over the past couple of months. Two long trips to London and one to Chicago have, for the most part, been the reason. Even the most ardent pool fans can be spread pretty thin in life at times, but it's always nice when they post on here.
While there is no question that there are some threads that are fairly useless and even a few that proceed objectionably, there are still plenty of threads worth reading and loads of people offering quality content on the AZB main forum.
If and when Fatboy returns to AZB (or if I run into him on the tournament trail, as I do from time to time), he will be greeted with enthusiasm, but until then, he's busy living life and there's really nothing wrong with that. Wish him well.
One of the best things about our forum is that it is much bigger than any one poster. Hence, when members weave in and out of the forum whenever they please, it is the natural flow of things.

I've heard from a reliable source that he was slighted playing backgammon in Monaco checking out yachts and various other sights while spreading the word that the 5 ball is Orange ha ha
