Fatboys Tournment Room....Update!!

Floor concrete is being poured tomarrow(unless the snow storm stops it), its over 18 months late, everything has went wrong(including the most snow EVER in Vegas) but its suppost to get poured tomarrow!!!!

It should hold 10-12 tables and bleechers, that was just a guess we (Glen-Real King Cobra and me) are going to measure it tomarrow night-if it gets poured. Man its gonna be great, they just built a Hampton Inn 1.5 miles from my house, room rates are super cheap in Vegas and wil be for along time, so we got a room and a place to stay. Since I own it and answere to no one it will be real pool friendly unlike hotels can be. its 7 mins from the airport(including red lights) its the perfect set up.


I'm going to do great things there for pool, since its my house I just will expect people to be respectful to the property. I would say its 90 days from being done and by end of summer we will be doing something pretty big, we will be doing action changlles sooner than that, I want to start small and grow into being the #1 spot for pool in America, it wont be the biggest venue like the Derby, but it will be a presigeous place to win a annual event at like the US Open is. I'm not competing with anyone, i'm just going to be the new guy and pool needs that. I will have the support of the pro's and they and all other pool players will too, mooches and takers need no apply.

Try to get some pics of the progress....it would be great to watch it come together over time.

You can get a permanent high speed internet connection there so there is no worry about bandwidth for streaming the matches live.

I definitely would like to stop by and see the place the next time I'm in Vegas Eric.

Are you still going back and forth between LA and Vegas?

yeah, i been living between vegas/LA since sept 13 1993, I cant live in one city for more than a month unless I have to for work-I like to live in both, some years I spend more time in LA, some Vegas past 2 I spent alot of time in Germany. I will never live in one spot I couldnt stand it.


the room is a banquet room that I'm going to use for parties, weddings etc, it will also be used for pool tournments. It just happens to be part of my house, I have a big house. Its not a pool room or a business, just a big giant multi-purpose room and since I like pool, I'm going to make things happen. the weddings etc will fund the fun stuff(pool).:smile:

I am currently building a foundation for a room with 24 tables, soft music, crystal chandeliers, a Free buffet and all you can drink for Free.

All the rack girls are Playboy Bunnies and if you lose any money.........you get it all back DOUBLE.

When I first got into sales, all the old school "tin men" types would define a "mooch" as an easy sale.

A mooch would have their Christmas lights up in the summer! LOL.
They would also have many items sold "in home". ie. Kirby vacuum, water softner,burglar bars,siding....etc.

Mooches like ALL things they can't afford, but have the credit to buy it anyway!!
