Favorite Player to Watch?

McCready, Martinez, Medina, and Morro

Absolutely love how these guys play. Can watch them all day. These are people who symbolize what pool players are to me.

Earl, Shane, Jayson

Watching Shane play actually seems to change my mechanics. I temporarily start adopting his pre shot routine and I feel like my aim is more accurate.


On the flip side watching Busty's bicycle stroke temporarily destroys my stroke! :@)

his stroke is a thing of beauty, I tried to immitate it and make it mine and I played the worst pool in my life. I wish I could get it to work for me, it's a sweet stroke imo, one of the reasons I love watching him so much
 
Cole Dickson when he got a game. All the banter that went prior to the game was worth the price of an admission. I sure do miss the pool era of the '70s and early '80s.

BTW if u check the stands at any event he's in, he is the overwhelming favorite.
 
How about a match between Jayson Shaw and Tony Drago?

Race to 21. If it goes hill-hill it would be over in about 28 minutes. :D

I enjoy fast players because it seems so intimidating. Shaw looks like "I'm whipping you and I'm not even looking at the table."

If it's only one, then it has to be Earl. He's like a box of chocolates.......;)

Close seconds, Keith, Mike Sigel, Floyd, Nick, Ronnie Allen, Swaney, and Louie Roberts.
 
I got many favs, but here are a few.

My top favorites: SVB, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Earl Strickland, Efren Reyes, Mika immonen.

My not to watch, aka boring: Ralf Soquoet, Neils Feijen - Reason (Too slow and boring, I yawn non-stop watching them walk around the table over and over)
 
For pure entertainment I like Earl Strickland and Keith McCready.

For learning purposes I like Mike Sigel in straight pool.

And then there is Reyes, king of them all. You are guaranteed both entertainment and learning when watching him. So if I had to pick only one it would have to be Reyes, with Strickland as a very close second. Reyes wins because he can play all games equally well.
